I'm really disappointed since if this is how it ends, I really feel bad for Jacob Young because I know that he wanted to do the Cancer storyline justice since his own mother is a Cancer survivor, & he deserves to have a meaty storyline where he can showcase his talents. I HOPE that's not the end of it, because the writers are doing a total disservice to not only Jacob Young, who has been doing such an excellent job, but to real cancer patients everywhere.

Nothing was said to indicate that the storyline is over, so do not jump to conclusions so fast. It is not as if JR has been in remission for months or even weeks. Give the story a chance, I will bet there is more to come and more relatives like Adam and Colby will be drawn into the story.
There is still plenty to tell and it is unfair to assume the story is over so soon after JR is declared to be in remission. Cancer remissions are not the end of their cancer, for many cancer patients.

There was a cancer special on tv last week (for breast cancer survivor month) and the cancer patient used a new term that I really like....instead of 'cancer survivor - she used the term 'cancer WARRIOR'. That is cool.
Was JR dressed as Dr. Evil for Halloween??
I hope it's not the end. For me, the pay-off of the entire storyline is Adam finding out about JR's cancer. I want him to be horrified and repentant. I want a nice bedside scene where Adam promises to stand-by JR and applogises for not being there. I want JR to reach out to his father and the two of them to rebuild their relationship.
For me, every story has to be about the characters. Can't we take one day off from the 'Who Shot Stuart' mobious strip and deal with JR and Adam? It's crazy that Adam hasn't noticed that his beloved grandson is living with Krystal and Tad. Why is he not questioning that? Why is no one in the family really seeing JR?
JR and Adam's relationship is at the heart of this IMO. Marissa's nice and all, but I'm not invested in her. I'm invested in the Chandlers. The whole point of Adam not knowing about the cancer is so he can find out and react. And he can't find out after the fact, because that's robs the moment of its drama. I love JR and the actor's doing a nice job with this plot, but without that scene, the whole storyline seems like a dead end.
