Topic: Did Jesse forget about Richie's murder?

Additional Comments:

I would have thought that Jesse would have taken the allegations that Annie had a gun in her room and was unstable more seriously. After all, wasn't it just a few weeks ago that he was tailing Annie, bringing her in for questioning and giving her the squinty eyes of suspicion because he thought she may have had something to do with Richie's murder? At first he was more than willing to return Emma back to Annie because he said all he sees is a distraught mother. If Jesse was any kind of great investigator, all sorts of red flags should have been raised. I guess he had a brain f@rt.

I hope he forgets about it and I hope it turns out Annie didn't kill Richie, even though he deserved it.

What can you expect from an undercover chief of police??  I'm still waiting to see him in an OFFICIAL Uniform.   AMC is so out of sync with life in general.   I think they just want to see how many characters we can "hate" in a 1 hour drama.   As for me, the only ONE that I like is Myrtle.   That figures because we never see her.  They keep showing all these freaks every day who are not even considered actors.

  • I don't hate Jesse, but I am disappointed that the Richie murder investigation has gone nowhere fast. At first Jesse was consumed by it, even bouncing off theories with Tad while playing video games. Now, it was like he hardly recognized his #1 suspect, Annie. /Cookie
  • Don't remember you complaining so much when COP Trevor and COP Derrick always dressed in street clothes.
  • Police Chiefs do not wear uniforms, usually suits, detectives wear suits. The street patrol are the ones that wear uniforms so the public will know they are police officers.

SPOILER: (highlight this portion if you wish to read it)   I read a spoiler that said Zack figures out Annie is the murder and "works her" to get her to confess.

I think they've completely forgotten about Ritchie's murder. Maybe the new writers don't care about it, but I'm annoyed that they aren't following up on it. Issues get dropped all the time so I shouldn't be surprised.

  • Jesse was so intense about it and was really starting to corner Annie. I can't believe Jesse acted as so blaise towards her. It was almost as if he never spoke to her before. /Cookie

I too was taken back when Jesse considered Emma be returned to Annie...duh a bad move.  Yet as the segment  continued Jesse became more intense with Annie and made it very clear  and firm, that there will be an ongoing investigation.

  • Yeah, like the ongoing investigation of Richie's murder ;o). Anyway maybe by investigating one, he'll kill two birds with one tire iron! / Cookie

Jesse has women problems right now, he can't be bothered with police work. I think most Police Chiefs assign Detectives to investigate a crime, but Jesse seems to want to handle everything himself and he has more pressing issues right now.. At least he started out good until the PV mentality took over.

  • Sorry, Goldie, I hope you are wrong. Jesse having women problems should ''not'' interfer with his position. If it is has I will be very dissapointed as Jess comes on as someone who finds his work to be important and rewarding. :) eom Suds
  • Oops ..correction...disappointed..not my silly dissapointed :( eom Suds
  • Well if Angie would stay at the Hospital and stop constantly interrupting him with questions and drama maybe he could concentrate, I have a friend whose husband is a detective, she very rarely goes to the Police Station.
  • Yeah, Jeanne, I agree. Angie's frequent stops at the station is not allowed by most PDs. Also, Jessie's frequent stops at the hospital are not appropriate. :) eom Suds
