Topic: Zach is bordering on being ridiculous

He catches sight of his wife looking jealous and left out watching Ryan hug Greenlee and what does he do?

Tells her it is okay for her to be close to Ryan and that he trusts her with his life. 

Loving husband is sexy.

Doormat is not.

I didn't buy Zendall from the start - they always seemed too mix-matched. The man Zach was when he first came to town would have been driven batty by the immature likes of Kendall. Now there is this totally one-sided devotion to them that makes Zach look more stupid than Kendall ever was. eom/ky

ITD. Zach fell in love with Kendall because he saw how devoted she was to Greenlee. Zach saw under Kendall's flaky surface to see she could be self-sacrificing and caring and he admired that and it turned into love.

And he is still waiting for some of that self sacrificing and caring to thrown his way. Greenlee and Ryan are getting it all. eom/ky

I think Zach's anger is simmering under the surface. He's determined not to act like his father so he tries to forgive and forget his wife's indiscretion and move on. He loves her and they have a family. He wants to keep it together, that's (family) very important to him. But, he can't help be hurt and angry. I think he's going to blow. He just hasn't yet. I read a spoiler that said (highlight to read) Zach slugs Aidan when Aidan accuses him of deliberately sending him to Africa in order to get him kill.

You are most likely right but...Aiden made no vows to Zach so he should not be the sole target of his anger. eom/ky

Zach has every right to be angry at Aidan for what Aidan accused him of.

I kind of saw it differently, I saw it as a man who is trying to make an unstable situation in his marriage a little less tense for his wife, by showing some understanding towards her Ryan connection.

That's what I mean. She cheats. He gives and gives and gives. He is the one who should be getting the understanding and the TLC. She should be making things easier on him instead of making him justify his actions toward Aiden and letting him see her looking longingly at Ryan. eom/ky

Did you see that look he had when he was hugging her? I think he's saying one thing and feeling another.

I saw the look. TK is doing a good job conveying Zach's hurt and anger with his expressions and body language. He has always been written as loving Kendall so much he would willingly die for her. He isn't gong to leave her because she lost control and had sex with Aidan when she thought Zach was dead. Zach's bigger issue is Kendall didn't trust him enough to be honest with him about what she did while he was missing. That's what they still need to resolve.

You never know what the future holds with any couple. I think that they need a break from one another.
