I want to tell you something very interesting.
We all know that "All My Children" is the title of this show.
So my question is: Who exactly are the "Children?"

Message: There was originally a poem in the front of a photo album at the beginning of the show (that was SO grammatically incorrect!LOL) that was basically stating that "You are ALL MY CHILDREN," the "you" being all people and the "person" narrating the poem being God.
It was hokey and typical of the time period, but didn't make it beyond the first episodes.

Message: You must not watch many soaps. Traditionally, they all have goofy names, Guiding Light, Another World, Search for Tomorrow...But who cares? All My Children...we are all somebody's children, no matter how old we are. And on a soap, people ACT like children forever, and don't we love it? All My Children has characters who WERE children, now grown up WITH children, so you see it goes on and on.
