Zach, without a scintilla of sarcasm, saying to Kendall after giving in to Green's begging, wheedling, whiney, argumentative, fish-wife-ish, gack-worthy *youoweme* demands:

"Greenlee is what matters.  I forgot that."

Frankly, I can not understand why Zach can't see through Greenlee's sudo love for Aiden.  It's like she has the '' I got me a man too, just like everyone else'' attitude.  There is something lacking in Greenlee's interest in Aiden.   Perhaps she is getting ready to dig herself  '' hole #3''. :)

  • ...there's a LOT lacking in Greenlee's interest in Aidan! There is no passion, no commitment, no non-carnal commonality. And mainly, there's no humor...buddz
  • It's not Zach's fault that RB and AT have zippo chemistry and RB's Greenlee being in love w/Aidan isn't believable like SS's Greenlee being in love with him was. The change in actresses doesn't change the story though.

Does anyone feel that maybe Greenlee is a part of his plan?  I don't know.  His tone was almost as if he wanted to hurt Kendall.  YOU don't matter but Greenlee does to me.  Maybe it's just me, but I really think Kendall is going get a taste of her own medicine, and Zach is going to ask her to understand.  He's going to throw it in her face that he didn't know how else to handle it, and that it wasn't planned.  Her own words might come back to bite her, and quite frankly, I hope they do.  I hope he does make a move on Greenlee and something does happen.  I just don't want Greenlee being the one to make that first move.

  • ...and by making a move on Greenlee, you mean, a physical, sexual, romantic sorta thing? That will probably happen some day down the line, as well, but by catering to her whim now, Zach has shown that she already has an emotional bond with him that transcends ordinary friendship. Kendall should already be filled with regret, jealousy, resentment. The biting has already begun...buddz
  • I'm loving Zach and Greenlee, and their ''special'' bond! I wouldn't mind it becoming something else, though I doubt it will. I was wondering if they are going down a Greens/Jake road again. I wouldn't mind that either, but pleeaaase, NO RYAN/GREENLEE! Not again! Once was waaaaay too much!!!!!!
  • Kendall should already be filled with regret, jealousy, resentment. Really? The woman who demanded that her husband accept her running around trying to help Ryan even though it clearly upset him. She jumped all over him when she felt he was being mean to Ryan and rubbed his nose in her calling Ryan to console him. If and when Zach strays...Kendall owes him a major pass. eom.ky
  • Yes I think Zach & Greenlee’s special emotional bond will allow them to grow closer physically. I would not say, however, that it is part of Zach’s plan - I think it may just happen.

    I'm totally missing the point.

Zach has chosen to forgive the woman who broke her vows to him and focus his anger and pain on the man she slept with.

In doing that, he had forgotten his dear friend Greenlee and the promise he made to her to help her get Aiden back.

Now he admits that Greenlee's happiness is more important than his thought of revenge against the man who should be afforded the same pass he gave the woman who he had every right to expect some loyalty from.

  • ...that is the point! That Greenlee and her *needs* have preference over an international kidnapping incident crisis! She really should not have that much control over something of that magnitude, even though we know what we know, or think we know what we know...buddz
  • Oh...I didn't get that if Aiden didn't go on the mission that Zach would scrap the entire rescue effort. That is a bit different. I was on board with Zach putting Greenlee's worries about Aiden ahead of his anger at Aiden. eom.ky

Truth is Zach is taking out his hurt on Aiden, whether he wants to admit it or not, buddz, by sending the man who slept with his wife to a perpetual war zone – perhaps hoping he will get shot?   Supposedly Aiden took the job at Cambias to get ‘out of the field,’ but his first assignment is ‘in the field’ to one of the most dangerous countries in the world.  But when Zach gave Aiden the assignment to go to Darfur he wasn’t considering how it would affect Greenlee – and it is in that context that this quote fits in.  Now I am ducking if I did not help to taper that anger I can feel through cyber space.

  • ...don't duck yet, Stratty! I agree with you -- of COURSE Zach was taking out his hurt and anger on Aidan. Therein is the crux of the matter, that when it comes to a power struggle or a cavewoman-winning contest, Zach will always win because Zach has the bigger club! And Spotted Club's motives were less than noble, going to Big Club's Cave of Cockolding for a job. He wanted big bucks to buy furs and frou-frou for his fancy fiancee. But the part that galls is that Greenlee's thoughts, desires, needs are foremost -- that she is all that matters -- that she even gets an official apology...buddz
  • I know what galls you about this quote buddz, but doesn’t it help if you see it in the context of Greens happiness comes first when it comes to thinking about Aiden? This is ONLY about Aiden & Greens now. Greenlee comes first when it comes to the duo so hurting Aiden would hurt her. If you think of it that way, doesn’t that help a wee bit…I am still ducking.......
  • ...what galls is that Greenlee is NOT all that matters and her happiness isn't of prime importance and she doesn't merit an apology! But what helps a wee tiny bit is knowing that Zach's possible guilt/blame has been eradicated should anything happen to Aidan ...buddz
  • Zach and Greenlee have both said, ''you know we are more than just friends'', and I do think there is a special bond between them, but as for what Zach said about ''Greenlee being the most important'', I personally think he was just tweaking Kendall. Just getting back a teeny bit, LOL, for which I say GO ZACH! She so deserves it! Grief sex, my rear end!
