Cool question. Here's my two cents' worth:

I'm rooting for Kendall and Zach to leave town together with their boys and be happy for at least awhile. Later, if Alicia Minshew decides to return,  Zach can always be killed off or recast.

I'm rooting for Greenlee to come back as her original feisty self. And what's more, I'd love to see her reject that jerk Ryan, once and for all. He has never been consistently faithful to her, either in spirit or in fact. She needs to get over him and move on! Find her a new love interest or, better still, bring back Leo. Josh Duhamel was wonderful, but there are other cute, charming actors out there who could handle the role. And resurrecting Greenlee might also lead to some cameo appearances by Mary Smythe, always a fun character.

I'm rooting for Erica to grow up. Please! Pine Valley has lost Mona, Ruth and Myrtle---and with Erica still an emotional teenager, there are no adults left to provide any kind of  balance.  Besides, it would be fun to see how Erica deals with the real-life challenges of a 50-something woman.  Erica Kane in menopause...Erica Kane being discriminated against because of ageism...Erica Kane hearing herself addressed as "Grandma" for the first time! Scenes like that could be funny, touching and enlightening. 

I'm rooting AGAINST David, much as I love him. Because lately, Dr. Diabolo has just gone too d*mned far! I'd like to see him (a) lose Trevor after a paternity test reveals Jake as the bio dad; (b) get into serious legal trouble over the drugging of Adam; (c) get into even MORE trouble over his having held Greenlee hostage for so long; and (d) have his world turned upside down when Vanessa and Leo return to town!

I'm rooting for Adam and Annie to be happy, at least for awhile. I'm hoping that they, and not Ryan, will have custody of Emma.

I'm rooting for Bianca to come home, but only if the writing for her is better than it was on the last go-round.

I'm rooting for a Marissa/JR/Babe triangle, assuming that Alexa Havins can reprise the role. I'm surprised at myself for wanting this, since originally I never even liked the Babe character, but Jacob and Alexa have always had chemistry. And anything that puts the spotlight on JR is, IMO, all to the good. 

I'm rooting against a Tad/KWAK reunion. They had a loveless marriage, a marriage of convenience. They were just pals. Nothing romantic about their connection, so why try to revive something that never had potential in the first place? Tad deserves a REAL love story, with all the trimmings. I'd like to see him given that. 

I'm rooting for Madison. Great character. Just give her a good juicy storyline and see the sparks fly. And I always like to see Angie and Jesse onscreen, even when the writing isn't up to par. As for Frankie, I can picture him drawn to Madison in a way that might actually threaten his marriage...

I liked fiesty Greenlee too, most definately want her un-Ryan'ed, put her in the castle with Dave. I used to hate WW but now with the Dr. there, it isn't half bad. DxB

David is such a Gothic character, like Heathcliffe or Mr. Rochester. He really does belong in a creepy old castle! Understatement

I'm rooting for  Angie and Jesse to become the Valley's new Joe and Ruth. Those wild youngsters need some sage and parental advice.

I'm rooting for David to get Amanda pregnant the old fashion way too. She's so adamant about her devotion to Jake that I wonder who she's trying to convince, herself or David. I think Jake only wants Amanda to spite David.

I rooting for Adam always.

I'm rooting for Kendall to leave forever and for Erica to get dumped for the next Babe like species to catch Ryan's eye.

Yes on Jesse and Angie, good point on Amanda and Jake, I think both of them are trying to convince themselves they are a great love story. From what I remember Amanda semi-stalked him, he used her for a roll in the hay but was not really that interested in her, he then dumped her for Taylor, Taylor dumped him, and whammo! back together as Romeo and Juliet = no sale! but hey, who cares about history?? DxB

Amanda and Jake to get a clue and have a DNA test done on Tiny Trevor.
Amanda to already be pregnant with Jake's baby.
Anything with Madison as a bad/good girl - she has the potential to be the next long term ''Erica Kane'' type character - the one you love to hate.
Dr. Dave and Liza to get together.

Rooting against:

Tad & KWAK
Bailey & Damon - get rid of them. They add nothing. Bring them back in a few years when it could really get interesting.
Randi & Frankie - BORING!
