Africa is a large contintent, w/many countries w/conflict within it. Jamie & Jake could easily be in two very different areas. Many of the countries that DON'T have military conflicts going on have humanitarian needs that easily could have seperated the two.

Yes, but if I recall correctly, Jamie went to Africa to work with his Uncle Jake.

That may have been true, but the organization they were working for may have felt that Jamie's talents were more suited to another area & seperated them. eom

I guess that's true but it wouldn't hurt them to write a throw-away line to have memtioned it. But, I don't know why I ever expect them to think relationships through.

But why would Jake mention Jamie around his captors? It would only make Jamie a target. eom
