Message: I think Jesse is taking it right now because he loves Angie, He will let her go on for awhile then he is going to show his backbone and she can soften up a bit.

Many people try to get their spouses to leave or not take on risking careers.
Jesse put Angie through hell for years and I think it's endearing that he wants to make their future as stress free as he can for her. She dried their son's tears and helped him through grief at a tender age. She raised him to be a fine man. More than the often deferred to Erica, Angie deserves her husband putting her needs ahead of his.
And Jesse, imo, does not seem to be suffering from any of it. He seems extremely happy with his family and his old and new friends.

Message: Yeah. I think she's real bossy, too. She's also shrill and hysterical. I do feel bad for Jesse cause he's so whipped already and they've only been together about a month. At times, he still must feel a lack of freedom. I can cut her a little slack because she's so scared of losing him again and is being overprotective out of love, but she better get over it soon or else, like you said, he'll go away for another 20 years.
