It is not the complicated blood ties that will drive this story. It is the stab in the back betrayal that Kendall will rightfully feel for once. Two people who are suppose to love and respect her do this without even asking her how she would feel. I agree with someone below who said that if this doesn't breakup the Slaters it will breakup the Kanes or maybe even both.

Typical behavior for Mr. Honesty Zach and true-blue Bianca. Zach turned off the power to the clinic to keep Kendall from helping her friend have a baby, but its all right that he deceives his wife with her sister. This is not about the fear of Kendall saying no, this is a power trip and hypocriscy at its height. But so, so typical of Zach the great.

YUCK!!!! I can't believe that Zach and or Bianca would keep this from Kendall. Zach is NOTHING but a first class HYPOCRITE! All of these months he has been preaching to Kendall about lies and secrets,and look at what he has been sitting on. And I won't blame Kendall one bit for being angry about it. Zach and Binks are too people she loves and trusts the most in her life,but I guess that will be no more after this. I see AMC sinking even deeper and deeper in ratings.

eh, doesn't sound confusing to me. I REALLY have family like that. Two of my GRANDMOTHER's sisters were pregnant by the same guy at the same time. Two of my GRANDFATHERS Sisters and one of his brothers were married to 2 brothers and a sister of another family.
My uncle married a woman with 3 kids, had one child with her then divorced. She then married my uncle's first cousin and they had 2 more kids. So the single child of my uncle is my first cousin and the younger 2 are my second cousins (and they are HER half siblings and 2nd cousins as well)
And since I live in the area where most of my grandparents siblings and offspring live, I have a bajillion cousins around here that I don't even know (Grandpa had 10 siblings and many of them had a number of offspring as well)....
Anyway, these things don't even PHASE me. I'm almost scared to dig too deep into my family tree. Hubby's mother lived next door to my parents when I was a baby. His grandparents are buried just a couple plots away from my grandparents. Even though I didn't grow up around here, my MOTHER and one of hubby's cousins worked together and I believe one even got babtised with me.
I went to school with one of my cousins for 3 years before I even found out or knew he was my cousin.. He sat right in front of me.

Why is it that nobody in Pine Valley ever gets a sperm donation from a stranger like millions of people in the rest of the world do? It's always got to be someone they know. But this SL seems a little out there - like maybe it's a "planted" rumor to get people buzzing. But if Bianca is going to have a baby, I'd rather it be Harold the Dog's offspring than Ryan's, so I guess I'm good with Zach if that's what comes to be.

That's kind of yucky considering that Miranda's father is Zach's brother, the man who raped her! I'd think she wouldn't want anymore Cambias related children.

Well, that pretty well does it for me. The whole thing just sounds yucky! I've been fighting the desire to say goodbye to AMC for a while now. Putting Greenlee back with Ryan, now (yuck), Zach being the father to Bianca's baby? I've had enough. These writers are obsessed with sperm, sperm donors, yada, yada, yada. The sperm donar storylines got old a long time ago.

1. Bianca and Reese wanted to have a child.
2. Bianca figured that it would be best if Miranda's sibling were a blood relative to keep Miranda and her sibling close (and I hope also for medical reasons).
3. Bianca knew that Kendall would say no, so she bypassed her and went to Zach, who made the donation.
4. Neither Zach nor Bianca has told Kendall.
5. Zach will find an unconscious, pregnant Bianca in the wreckage of the tornado.
I have to say... I think this is out of character for Bianca. First, she tends to be more straightforward. Second, why would Kendall say no? It's not like her GAY younger sister would ever "steal" her man. Third, she may think it's a good idea for her neice to have a blood relative. It is in character of Zach to do whatever he thinks is best, and tell no one. He always does that.

Related on both sides. Miranda would be half Sister to Bianca's baby. That was enough for Bianca and Kendall to be close. As for Kendall saying no, I'm not sure I would say yes to my husband fathering a child by anyone else. And not just because I would worry that he'd be stolen away. Can you also see Bianca going behind her Sister's back in this act of betrayal? Something so huge and irreversable should not have been done in secret. Kendall should have been consulted and if she said no, then her wishes as Zach's wife should have been respected. I see a MAJOR blowup with the Kanes.

The last ten years ago, Soaps have thought the gimmicks and shock storylines will bring them ratings. Sometimes they will bring a big spike, but so often they trash characters and/or logic to drive the storyline, that they do more damage than good in the long run. Part of the problem is that to have these storylines they have to have the characters do horrible things, and then when the storyline is over they don't have the character deal with the consequences and fallout and pretend certain things never happened. They write characters into a corner and then pretend they didn't.

ITA... in the last 10 years PLOT has trumped CHARACTER in writing... and it shows and so do the ratings. Viewers aren't connecting to the characters as much, so they're not invested in the shows. You reap what you sow. eom--Claudine

It will all be explained in a logical and forthcoming manner, fer shure. Binks loves Zach, for starters, and the desire for a new baby could be a strong impetus for a familial donation, rather than random stranger. The new baby would be Mimo's more-than-half sister or brother -- he would be a three-quarter-sibling and a first cousin, too. And he would be double cousin to Spike - triple cousin to Ian. Zach would be a daddy/uncle.

I seriously doubt if it will all be sweetness and joy. If that were the case then why do it? If it wasn't designed to set the family to spinning then Bianca could have come to town impregnated by her lover's brother's or cousin's sperm.

NOPE. This is designed to either break up the Slaters or break up the Kanes. Any *viewer shock value causing the boards to buzz* will be worn off long before the story even airs. Yeah Kendall's smarter, kinder, wiser Sister will be back but all will not be well.

Zach had guilt over the child he never knew about and later rejected. Can't see him being a sperm donor to sperm bank.
Zach has given Kendall heck over keeping secrets. Can't see him entering into this with Bianca without Kendall's knowledge/approval.
If all three were in cohoots on this then you'd think they'd have at least mentioned talking to Bianca recently.
