Additional Comments:

I am no fan of Jamie Luner, but dare I say she actually looked pretty without all that crap makeup on her face and the big fake hair?  Just in her robe (despite heels haha) with her hair pulled back in a ponytail...it was refreshing.

And now I'll go back to not liking JL or Liza, please and thank you. :)

I really like Liza these days.  Never did care for her in the past.  I hope they keep the character (and this actress) around for a while.

I also really like this Liza, made up or not.  I was never a big fan of Marcy Walker and I hated that she was always dressed manly.  At least this Liza is more feminine.  I would not mind seeing this Liza and Tad get together altho they are just friends (LOL).  I do not want to see her roll in the hay w/ David tho.  I think her and Zach would have been very good actually.

  • Marcy wasn't manly nor was her wardrobe IMHO...she is not a tiny woman, but she isn't a huge woman either..she is fairly average in size..but tall and had some strong features..that doesn't make her unfeminine at all...her hair was quite the glory back during her last stint on AMC...and her wardrobe wasn't manly ...certainly not when it was the teen Liza...and once Liza left PV and then came back to run WRCW she dressed businesslike...in tailored clothing...I wouldn't say manly, though. She wore a lot of white...she wore nice, feminine blouses. Liza was supposed to be more professional, more mature than The Fusion girls...people forget that Liza is the one who really got that company off the ground. Liza dressed more like Brooke did...don't forget years back having women being powerful heads of established companies was not the norm and women had to dress the part..in real life as well as on TV. Remember the suits with string ties women wore for awhile? Erica started her own company after being editor of Tempo...so Erica dressed as Erica chose. But Brooke ran Tempo and Liza ran WRCW...you don't dress for professional jobs the way the girls of Fusion show up at work. They look awful, frankly. In her personal life, Liza remained rich girl tailored in her style. I don't see where NuLiza dresses a whole lot differently...she may use flashier fabrics and some blouses with lower cuts...but she still dresses tailored for the most part. That's just my opinion. I expect Liza to be more tailored in her look...she's been a powerhouse business/professional woman and is establishing her law practice. Her robe wasn't exactly from Victoria's Secret...lol. To me she looked like she just scrubbed her face and pulled back her hair and put on a comfy robe...that's what OriginalLiza would have done, too. SORAS

I LOVE Jamie Luner...never saw her in any other program..day or night time..no idea of her acting credentials.  I NEVER thought I'd accept ANYONE recreating the role Marcy Walker originated...Marcy was Liza and there was no other to me.  And now, I totally and completely accept Jamie Luner in the role...I LOVE her!

I thought she looked sweet without the makeup...and youngish because the sophistication of makeup (as Liza wears it) wasn't present.....so how lucky is she?

But that said, WITH the makeup and the hair done...I think she's gorgeous.

So I think she's just a lovely woman and the makeup steps her up into a different level.  As for her hair...I'd love to have HALF that amount of hair on my head and I love the color, too!  I'm not sure what color everyone else is getting on their TVs...people are saying orange.  I get a wonderful red and it's fabulous.

I love Jamie Luner.  I hope she stays with AMC for a VERY VERY long time...lord knows we're losing so much I loved about AMC with this move to LA...I don't want her returning back to LA from whence she came and ending up in prime time or something!

She looked lovely without the makeup and she looks gorgeous when she is made up and I liked HER Halloween costume the best...she was a fabulous Cruella de Vil!

Did I say I love her??

Dare I say without all the war paint and poofed hair it made her face look slimmer. Cute exit by David poking her in the gut. It was such a real reaction I think he surprised her with that poke.

  • You saw him poke her in the gut? I saw him lightly tug on her robe's belt...y'know a little flirtation (hubba hubba....he can pull on my robe belt anytime!) SORAS
  • I also saw David pull on her robe - still flirting. - kris
  • A poke, a pull? Either way (yep I was wrong about the poke) it was fun and I bet he just threw that in. Loved that moment. eom/WE

  • Huzzah! I'm glad there was at least one other soul willing to come into the open to express their like for her that day...and then slink back into the corner of ugly hatred!
  • Aw, crap! I have to learn to sign my little responses LOL (Madi83)
