Topic: Did Zach actually tell Amanda that the # for the police is 911?

Additional Comments: When Zach came to Fusion, he told Amanda to call the police, and when she ran to go do that, he followed by saying, "9-1-1."

I know that many of the Fusion girls seem vacuous, but to have to tell them how to dial the police in an emergency?  Did the writers not realize how ridiculous that sounded?

It's possible to summon the police without dialing 911.  The police station has it's own numbers.  I took it to mean that he wanted her to use the emergency number instead of just calling the station.

  • Ky - I agree. I also took it to mean he wished her to use the emergency number for help. /NiteOwl
  • Yes, but it was obvious it was an emergency, so it was only logical to dial 911. / Vivian

Let's face it. Those women are all about as sharp as the edge of a bowling ball...so I'd say it was kind of appropriate.

Yes.  Yes he did.  And it might've been an ad lib and not the writers' doing.  But maybe it was appropriate, after seeing what those women were using for "weapons" when the elevator opened!  (A tennis racket?  A giant perfume bottle?  Snorff!)
