Additional Comments: OK - I've never been to a fertility clinic, but are they really like 7-11 and open all night? I mean, David and Amanda leave to drive to another town for an appointment that they're rushing to get to AT NIGHT? Am I crazy, or is that the biggest hole in the "we're off to make a baby but got stuck in the country" scenario?

Message: I've never worked in a fertility clinic. However, I worked for a large HMO and we did our own fertility procedures. I worked in the ER and we had Ob-Gyns on 24/7. When the fertility patient reached her ''fertile'' time she would come in and the on-call Ob-Gyn would do the insemination. This could happen anytime of day or night. We usually had 2-3 a month. It was not an ''emergency'' but we had the set up for the procedure.
So, I guess that fertility clinics probably have someone on call for after hours procedures.

I thought it started out being lunchtime when they met at Fusion...well it's OUT OF TOWN...maybe it's WAY out of town...and it was a 6 pm appointment and it gets dark at 5-ish now.
I haven't seen all of the episode yet...but that would be my explanation if darkness as they drive and STOP driving for the "procedure" is the only indicator of time you're referring to.
To me, Amanda is crazy...one more month...isn't THAT awful v. doing the deed with David.
She's an idiot.

What a great point. I guess I've gotten sooo used to bizarre stories I didn't even give that a second thought.
