Additional Comments: If it's true that Julia will be killed off, I wonder if members of her family will be making a appearance to her funeral? I seriously doubt it, seeing as how we haven't heard casting scoops about some of the santos family returning. They'll probably come up with some lame story about having her body sent to Texas (that's where they're from isn't?) so her family can bury her there.

Man this is real sad. No chance of a Noah/Julia reunion or Maria and the Santos family coming back. I swear on a stack of Bibles that I could've written better stories than what we're seeing now, but I would have to go back to school for a few years to get degrees in journalism and English just so I can have a shot at writing for this show. And by then, it'll already be canceled.

Will Kathy (Kate) be at the wedding? Will the writer's play it out so that she gets to see her adoptive mom killed in front of her? Gee, that would sure draw an audience wouldn't it? (please note: sarcasm).

I don't know about the return of the family...and I do agree with YurSoaking that anytime there is something spoilerish it needs to be in the topic...but I gotta' say this one I saw coming. I'm a week behind in watching epis but it was clear to me from the start of this sudden talk of Australia and the stepped up search for Kate and appearance of GhostDixie that to me the ONLY resolution of wresting that child off of Julia would be to have Julia killed off. Now I have no additional knowledge because I don't seek out spoiler info...so I assume Kate doesn't go out with Julia!

That all being said...this kid may end up with a complex when she realizes her birth mother gave her up because her birth mother was near death...then her adoptive parents died...then her next adoptive parent died...it's kinda' like you might not want to adopt this child if you want to stay alive!!

It doesn't appear the writers care that in Kathy's short life she's been asked to endure so much more than any tyke should. They just play it day by day and doubtful they realized what they've done to her (parentwise) in her short life. When Julia spoke of Australia I didn't think she'd be killed off. I did wonder if she would just hand her over to Tad (thinking that was the right thing to do) and at least have one adoptive parent stay IN her life through correspondence. So she's lost the only mom and dad she ever knew, then the second mom, will find out bio mom is also dead but HEY she'll have daddy Tad. That's a lot to go through just to try and get the holics to tune back in. Without a Dixie, Tad, Kate reunion they may get a hike in May sweeps but once Dixie goes back to her reward (lol), that'll be the end to that. A little more thought put into this and it might have worked. Having Julia stay in her life (even from across the globe) and maybe they should have found a way for Dixie to be alive....! Adding Angie, Jesse and whoever else might come along was inspired. Had they written this better that possible rise in viewers might have continued to rise.eom/WE

Poor little Kate! And I must agree with the previous poster, that adopting this kid does seem to be the automatic 'kiss of death,' lol! Understatement

Reggie... always put ''SPOILER'' in the subject line (while, in most cases, not even mentioning who the spoiler is about) whenever you're going to discuss a big moment in the upcoming story.

Not even my own partner knows what's in-store for Julia!
