Additional Comments: What is that Idiot Tad doing visiting Adam at Oakhaven? Can't he just leave the man alone? I think Tad is so insecure that he has to torture someone in order to feel anything himself, and it is usually Adam. I can not stand him. Don't you have to be on a visiting list to visit someone in a mental institution? I guess not in PV, jail, prison, loony bin, anyone can just walk in. Can't these writers just try to be alittle bit true to life, I know its a soap but this is ridiculous. Some one please give Tad a taste of his own medicine, he is not that special, he is a first class jerk.

When a person is in a pshychiatric ward they do not allow visitors on the first day. The patient is supposed to be evaluated. Usually on the first day or two.
Vistors are supposed to be friends or family members, I think just family members not 100% sure.
Tad is not Adam's family or even his friend. I think this whole story is stupid. There's so many things wrong with this I don't even know where to begin. It's not even a realistic looking ward. Where are all the other patients? Why is he isolated? Why would I expect the writters to make this realistic?
Am I the only one that thinks this is just stupid writting?

Message: Tad actually seemed concerned about Adam. Tad is very much a father figure to JR. Tad checked things out for him and I didn't see Tad gloating at all. He even let Adam push him and yell and scream. I really think Tad believes he's seriously ill.

I felt that Tad's motivation to visit Adam was his ranting and raving about being in touch with dead Dixie. I was very Ok with him being there. :)

Message: I don't think he was there out of concern for Adam. He was on a fishing expedition because the other day he said something about "sensing" that Dixie was near. Not that he'd ever admit that Adam could be right or honest about something.

I believe Tad was visiting because JR and Colby asked him -- although, why he was allowed to walk in and out of his room without an orderly or any kind of security was rather unrealistic. (As if!)
In all fairness, before his visit was over, Tad seemed genuinely concerned for his old enemy. He even tried to soften his worry about Adam's condition for the kids' sake. Interesting.

Once again, I totally agree with you. I was thinking the exact same thing.
Tad had no business visiting Adam, especially to gloat. If Adam really was insane, that would really send him over the edge. I would think that for at least a couple of days while a patient's condition is being evaluated, that no one would be able to visit, especially someone who is not an immediate family member and especially someone who is their mortal enemy.
Tad gets more unlikeable and less sympathetic each and every day. I just can't stand him anymore.
