Subject: I know there are others here that watch another Soap or two. I'm one and I also watch OLTL on ABC and Guiding Light on CBS. They have tried over the last year or so to do exactly what you guys said. They shoot outside in a small Town somewhere in N.J. and they wear street clothes and mostly are trying to portray middle America. But even there, hardly anybody works a real job all the time. It is weird. But I think Soap's are meant to be escapisim, a chance to get away from 'real' life. L.A.
