(1) You just wrote a book about yourself. What is the title of it? I'd have to *borrow* and adjust a little from the Donald Ross book...... *Golf Never Fails Me*

(2) If you own/lease a car.... Do you think you would be able to get around for a week w/out one? Own. With a bus stop 200 yds down the street I suppose I could.

(3) Did you watch the first debate between Obama & McCain? If so, how do you think they did? I think they both did fine. I prefer the civilized discussions over cute phrases and insults.

(4) What was your favorite TV show as a kid? Sesame Street. I loved the Muppets.

(5) Have you done anything to prepare for the fall (take outdoor furniture in, decorate,....etc...)? Aerated and reseeded the lawn, pulled up the *leggy* begonias, and prepared the beds for winter flowers.

If you own/lease a car.... Do you think you would be able to get around for a week w/out one?  Yes, our transit system could get me around, but it would be a time consuming process.

What was your favorite TV show as a kid?  As a child it was Bewitched.  As a teenager it was Mary Tyler Moore and Rhoda.  I also loved watching Merv Griffin when I got home from school.

Have you done anything to prepare for the fall (take outdoor furniture in, decorate,....etc...)?  Nothing so far.

  • I forgot about Merv.......I used to watch him in the afternoons too....I think he came on in my area at 4...I would watch GH then Merv! ~A&A's Mom
  • valleygirl..I agree about getting around w/out a car. I have the train station walking distance and everything is rather close but it would just take more time to do things...../Angela
  • I watched Merv, Michael Douglas and Groucho. They were usually on when I came home from school and Mom was watching the programs while she ironed. izi
  • mom had me a pb&j and a glass of milk in front of the tube when I got home from grade school and it was time for PASSWORD! DxB
  • I always watched Mike Douglas until the day he had on 3 men that had been abducted by aliens. Scared the bejesus out of me! I never watched again. /regina

    (1) You just wrote a book about yourself. What is the title of it? Getting through it all.

    (2) If you own/lease a car.... Do you think you would be able to get around for a week w/out one? Absolutely, positively, without a doubt, no way.

    (3) Did you watch the first debate between Obama & McCain? If so, how do you think they did? I'm so depressed about the economy, the state of the country and our choice of government, that I can't bear to watch any of that stuff.

    (4) What was your favorite TV show as a kid? The usual suspects....Happy Days, Patridge Family, Brady Bunch, Gilligans's Island, and of course, That Girl.

    (5) Have you done anything to prepare for the fall (take outdoor furniture in, decorate,....etc...)? Nope, not a thing....except I bought a couple of new sweater dresses.  Can't wear them until it gets cold though.

Thanks for the Daily Angela... seems like lately I can only stop in early and then the day gets under way and I never get a chance to come back!  anyway... on to today's questions...

    (1) You just wrote a book about yourself. What is the title of it?  My PG Bubble

    (2) If you own/lease a car.... Do you think you would be able to get around for a week w/out one?   I definitely could.  I can walk to the train station and take the LIRR to work so no need for a car.  I could pick up supplies here in the city or walk to town if I HAD to.  Wouldn't want to as groceries can get cumbersome, but I COULD if I HAD to.

    (3) Did you watch the first debate between Obama & McCain? If so, how do you think they did?   I watched and I thought Obama carried himself much better than McCain.

    (4) What was your favorite TV show as a kid?  Mary Tyler Moore, Partridge Family, Brady Bunch (as a little kid, I loved I Love Lucy and the Flintstones)

    (5) Have you done anything to prepare for the fall (take outdoor furniture in, decorate,....etc...)?  I cut down a huge overgrown hydrangea bush that was just falling over everytime it rained - I hadn't touched it in 4 years.  in a couple more weeks there will be more cleaning up of the garden to be done.  I have decorated my house and office w/ autumn decorations... I may put out a few Halloween decorations soon too.

    (4) What was your favorite TV show as a kid? Oh gosh....I had a few......I Love Lucy (of course these were reruns), Land of the Lost, Square Pegs, and on Saturdays I loved the Bugs Bunny-Road Runner Hour!  LOL  In High school, I remember watching any of the ABC Afterschool Specials and also my favorite was Trapper, John, MD.....although looking back I don't know for the life of me why I would watch that show at 16 or 17!  LOL  I also liked The Love Boat, Fantasy Island and Three's Company.

    (5) Have you done anything to prepare for the fall (take outdoor furniture in, decorate,....etc...)? Well, I have started pulling plants out of my vegetable garden and have started getting my fall flower garden ready to plant bulbs (since I've moved I get to do all new this year!)  I've not really put up any furniture.....I'll do that around the middle of October.  I'll probably put out all my fall flags this weekend and also plant some mums.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day!

    (1) You just wrote a book about yourself. What is the title of it? TREES ON THE HORIZON. I grew up in the Midwest and whenever we went for a drive in the country no matter where I looked there were always trees on the horizon.

    (2) If you own/lease a car.... Do you think you would be able to get around for a week w/out one? FOR ONE WEEK, YES. But after that I would need to go to the grocery store.

    (3) Did you watch the first debate between Obama & McCain? If so, how do you think they did? YES, I WATCHED. I thought they were both okay. I so wanted to be inspired. But, alas, I wasn't. Maybe next time.

    (4) What was your favorite TV show as a kid? HONEY WEST. It was only on one season, but it made a lasting impression. I grew up wanting a convertible with a pet leopard. And wanting to be a spy and use my feminine wiles to get what I wanted. That and The Partridge Family.

    (5) Have you done anything to prepare for the fall (take outdoor furniture in, decorate,....etc...)? YES. I made a fall flower arrangement for the living room. It will stay there until I replace it with something for Christmas.

  • Honey West, almost forgot about that show. I think that was one of Aaron Spelling's early efforts. ~i&b

Thanks for posting early sweet Angela, I've got to be at work early tomorrow, so this is perfect for me.

    (1) You just wrote a book about yourself. What is the title of it? The Lives I never Lived . I'm the Queen of missed opportunities I never followed through on. But I guess, everything happens for a greater reason, I have 3 great children, so all is good!

    (2) If you own/lease a car.... Do you think you would be able to get around for a week w/out one? No way, public transportation in Tampa sucks! With three kids, I need the mini-van!

    (3) Did you watch the first debate between Obama & McCain? If so, how do you think they did?I think that those that support Obama, think he won, and those that support McCain, think he won. Neither really stood out, I'm still for Obama!

    (4) What was your favorite TV show as a kid? The Brady Bunch! Growing up without a sibling, I so wanted to be one of them!

    (5) Have you done anything to prepare for the fall (take outdoor furniture in, decorate,....etc...)? On the 1st of Oct, I'll put out the Halloween decorations, I've already gotten the costumes for the kids. But guess what, it was 96 degrees here today, and we are expecting the next week to be the same. Fall in Florida is weird, that's for sure!

Thanks for the fun! Have a safe and blessed day!

  • 96 degrees? I don't even know what that feels like, really I don't. It was chilly and rainy here almost cancelled the Sox game. The Sox won yay!!! Your Rays will either be playing my White Sox, or those Twins this week. We'll know tomorrow. It will be a nail biter
  • amie.. The Brady Bunch..another great show. it seems that all the brady kids turned out ok for child stars...which makes me happy.../Angela
  • 96 degrees? Can I come down for a visit?? It was 84 here yesterday, which was great, but I would rather have 96! :) Have a great day! ~A&A's Mom

    Good day all.

Hi Angela, if your looking for a desk that can work with a computer, check out Ikea, they have some great products.  You do have to put it together yourself but we've never had a problem.  You should also check out websites for college furniture and the the usual Staples and Office Max.  Good luck.

    (1) You just wrote a book about yourself. What is the title of it?   The Simple Life, With Exceptions...

    (2) If you own/lease a car.... Do you think you would be able to get around for a week w/out one?   No not on Long Island, and not where I live.  I'm just under a mile from the rail and over 4 miles from where I work.  Our bus service isn't that frequent and I would have to get up much earlier to do a lot of walking.  Shopping would be a real hassle.

    (3) Did you watch the first debate between Obama & McCain? If so, how do you think they did? Its on DVR.  We watched part of it but not all so I'm not ready to comment.
Did you watch?  What did you think??

    (4) What was your favorite TV show as a kid?   Little kid, Loony Toons, The Rascals, Officer Joe Bolton.  Then there was this weird puppet underwater program.  Later, pre-teen, Flipper.  The Wonderful World of Disney was also a big favorite.

    (5) Have you done anything to prepare for the fall (take outdoor furniture in, decorate,....etc...)?   No not yet but I hope to do a little since I'm off Tuesday and Wednesday.

    Thanks for the questions.

    Happy New year !
