First of all, i wish to thank you so much for your friendship, thoughts, prayers and concern.
News is heartbreaking for us, they have just decided that Dianne will be moved to Hospice tomorrow morning. The Doctor says they have done everything they can for her, and nothing more can be done to improve her medical condition in this hospital. Her kidneys have failed to the point that the toxins have now reached her brain. Since yesterday she has not been responding when the nurses try to wake her up to take medications. I will go sit with her tonight, and will visit her in hospice until the Lord takes her home.

I was saddened and sickened to read how your sister is being treated by the hospital staff. The end of life should be treated just as respectfully as the beginning of life and every stage of life in between. I am so angry at the nurses for you! Grrrr!
I will pray for strength for you and your family during the time you have left with your sister and the days that follow. I will also pray that your sister is surrounded by love and compassion in her final days.

Hi Donata, I was saddened to hear of all you've been through with your sister and what you are facing now. Ingy was kind enough to let us know so that we can come over with prayers and comforting thoughts on your behalf.
I just wanted to pop over and let you know that you and your sister are in my prayers. It is hard to see a loved suffer as you have. I pray that the "peace that passes understanding" will cover you during this diificult time and that the same Lord that takes her home will bring you greater comfort and strength than you can imagine right now.

Oh, Donata, I am so very sorry! Words just can not express how bad I feel for you, her and your whole family. I pray for you all, and pray that God takes her swiftly and she feels no pain. The same thing happened to my grandmother in March 2007 with the kidneys/toxins, etc. Sending you (((((((((hugs)))))))))......I am so sorry.......

Donata, I am a regular poster on the DOOL PT board. We have a mutal posting friend, ingy&bert, who altered us there about your sister. I hope you won't feel that I am intruding here but I wanted to let you know that your sister, you and your family are in my prayers.
It is difficult to watch someone we love suffer and yet also difficult to let go. I pray that her passing is peaceful and painfree and that those she loves and who love her will bond together in love and support. May God's love and peace surround you all at this time.

Message: I am so sorry Donata. Hospice is a loving and wonderful organization. They cared for my father the last few weeks of his life. Her spirit knows that you are there with her and your devotion will help her on her journey. We all must pass one day, and your sister is lucky to be surrounded by love, although I know it's hard to think of it that way at this moment. Again, my prayers are with you and your family.
