Work last night was sooooo funny. We have this guy back there, we call him the Disney kid because he worked at Disney World. He loves all the Disney stuff, does his Micky Mouse impression quite well actually. He loves 'Highschool Musical'. He was trying to make the deli into a musical and omg it was soooooo funny. He was singing everything like a musical. Maybe he should audition for W.E. It was just me, Disney kid, and one other person and the store was dead. That's what I like about nights there's no managers yelling at you all day:)
We were trying to presuade this guy who we were working with to sing a verse and he wouldn't. I told him if he wants something he going to have to sing it. Then Disney kid starts singing' sing what youuuu want sing what you neeeeeed'. He's actually quite good. It was all the singigng and dancing it was so funny. We all get to work together again Sunday I can't wait.
Anybody ever have this much fun at work?

This reminds me of the time when I was shopping at Whole Foods and when I went to check out, the cashiers began singing a Johnny cash song. I think that it was Ring of Fire.
It was so hilarious. It really cracked me up.

That guy sounds like a Real Character, B lol!
I haven't had to many funny folks in most the jobs ive ever had but I did have this one guy at this one job one time named Tom.
Well, Tom was an alcholholic (i dont think thats funny) and he liked to party pretty hard on the weekends and it got to where he was always in such bad shape aferwards he was never able to make it to work on Mondays.
We just learned to not expect to see him till Tuesday so he got the nickname ''Tommy Tuesday'' lol.

That sounds like a lot of fun, Miss B, especially for work.
When I was much younger, I had a job nights and weekends working at the gift wrap counter of a department store. I worked with several other young women but there were two that were my favorite because they shared my sense of humor. Whenever the 3 of us were scheduled together, we had so much fun. We had various ''games'' we'd play when the store was dead (like in the last hour before closing on a Friday night). One was to raid the lost & found drawer and then box & gift wrap some of the items to give as ''presents'' to each other -- things like used baby pacifiers people found on the floor of the store and turned in. Once, I gave an expired mortuary association membership card. Another thing we'd do was to take the current store flyer and cut out pictures of the models and tape them up on the back of the counter where the customers couldn't see and make ''balloon'' comments coming out of the models' mouths saying things like how much they hated the outfit (while smiling broadly) -- just dumb stuff like that. We also took turns sneaking out of the customer service area and shopping around the store. The store manager made noises whenever he caught us shopping or having pizza delivered but the truth was that we were his favorites because we were spirited and always made him laugh.

Been there. Had the same job you do when I was in my late teens and early twenties (in 2 states). I recall many nights of hilarity when the managers weren't around.
Tell that guy I'll await his CD and/or resume (heh).
