I really couldn't recap tonight. Too much going on but I did watch. Fine crop of dancers and choreographers.

They made the right choice naming Adam Shankman third permanent judge. Loved his impression of Lil C...the veracity and the tenacity.

So Billy leaves due to illness and they bring in Brandon to replace. Choreographer Melanie LePatin dances with Russell for an injured Noelle who needs an MRI to determine if she must leave the competition or can continue on.

I'm just gonna say the obvious. Why do we need two nights? I wish they didn't eliminate until all dancers had two stabs at it but tonight's show was fully contained. Competition and elimination by judges.

Nigel was right to fight for Brandon to have the chance to compete again. He was only here a day and a half and if he wasn't needed he'd be eligible for season 7.

Someone has to go first but Arianna is a fine dancer and I felt bad. It was all so rushed - two weeks of dance before a decision is made should be the rule and one night is all that's necessary.

Looking forward to the weeks ahead and I don't and won't miss Mia at all. Sonia and Travis more than fill the void.

Oh, and Cat is TOPS. Loved her look tonight. She genuinely cares for them all and it shows!

I am completely bummed about Billy. I was not looking forward to anything as much as seeing him do all the diff't styles. waaaaaah!

I thot Bianca (tapper) was good and did not see the things Adam noticed (til the replay, lol). I gotta watch closer.

I love Adam as judge - he is KIND, and gives genuinely useful critiques.

Loved Travis Wall's choreo. Go Travis! Same for Sonya!

Loved ballroom guy, the husband. OK, he's lovely (ag drools a little)

Venezuela ballroom girl is muy caliente! And stunning!

I hope hope hope the guy who was there a day and a half gets his chance next season cuz he got a real raw deal.
If the rule is Top 20 can't come back, well, he really wasn't Top 20, but #21. There's your 'out', Nigel.

Tap guy did pretty well w/ the hip hop.

Krump guy's solo was awesome.

Mon. nite's show - could that happen every season - just a night for them to show off? Cuz that was such fun.
My faves were the bookends - the hip hop and the ballroom, and also the group number, cuz I have a little choreo crush on Wade, LOL.

I hope Billy was given the same deal as Brandon - it's only right since he was accepted. Gotta be honest, I'm not high on Bianca...yet. Adam is a great judge because he judges without resentment (like Mia, it was as if she was jealous of their success). Travis and Sonia round out the team nicely. Each time Ryan (the hot hubby) comes onscreen I say WOOF and my husbnad laughs. Gotta say something he's too hot to ignore. Oh yeah about the Venezuelan hot tamale...wow. Both Brandon and Billy should automatically get season 7. Love the Krump guy and one of the male tappers (darker hair) is better than the other. I wasn't aware of Monday's show as I'm in dress rehearsal. I'm bummed I missed it but hope to see it online AND by next week I hope to get all the names so I stop saying dark haired tap guy. Heh. eom/WE

Oh WE, I hope you find the mon. nite show. They grouped the dancers by style so the 3 hip hops did an awesome Nap/Tab routine (you got to see what Nap/Tab could do w/ dancers who already know the style), 4 contemps did a Mandy Moore, 3 jazzers did a Tyce, 4 other contemps did I can't remember who, the 3 tappers w/a new tap choreo'er, and the last was the 3 ballroomers (i think the aussie choreo'er). That one was the husband (Ryan?) w/ wife and Venezuelan gal kind of competing for him (it was so well done). And Wade's group dance was an old style nightclub kind of scene. The whole night was wonderful and all the dancers shone as they were doing their own thing. ag

I unfortunately missed quite a bit because the local news kept interrupting about the Bay Bridge shut down. But i did see some great dancing and good judging. I missed the disco dance but i saw the judging for it afterwards and apparently they were impressed with Mollie who i thought would be the first girl to go - oh well. My favorites last night were Ashley and Jacob - wow ! He is amazing !

Any girl would be lucky to be teamed with Jakob. It can only help Ashleigh. Mollee (and the high pitch voiced girl) are wonderful dancers. Their only downfall will be IF they annoy (lol). eom/WE
