Sooo we're coming down to it on Legally Blond The Search For Elle Woods.
Last night was interesting and I'm happy they let two go. Only because I felt both had overstayed their welcome. I felt bad for Selina(sp) but it appears the only thing keeping her in this far was the casting director and writer were at odds about her. I just don't see her in the role - one of the other girls maybe but not Elle.
Cassie was so snotty the last few weeks. Every audition has an interview section. With a show like this each time you're bottom it's as if you are interviewing AGAIN. You'd think she'd wise up with her comments. Her final shot that she was pi$$ed when cut just shows she never thought she was at fault (performance or personally). They are looking for that triple threat and also someone who plays well with others. It's a cast with girls who need to bond and she is lacking in that department.
Also, they are keeping Lauren but like Cassie I think she's way too young to carry a show on her shoulders. That was part of Cassie's problem. Even when Lauren chose her for the mani/pedi last week Cassie said I didn't want a pity pick. Lauren is more mature but I don't see her making it.
Emma is almost too mature in her attitude. She always looks like she's smelling onions and I don't think she knows that. She was the only one to show the seriousness of Serious but the light stuff is lost while we wonder what she's pi$$ed about. A shame - hope she can correct that.
I was a little surprised (a few weeks ago) that Bailey was questioned about her accent. I felt it worked for the role to a degree and if she works hard (since apparently she needs to lose it) she can do well. She is cookie cutter (right now) but a good director and choreographer...!!
Autumn psyched herself out last night. That was a shame because she did work well with the pup (important) and is animated enough without going overboard.
Natalie is an underdog. She doesn't really look the part but definitely has talent. Can't see her, either, but who knows.
Surprisingly (for me) Rhiannon is doing a bang up job. At first I wasn't big on her but she was the best last night (imo) and has the Elle personality every moment she performs.
I take everything said by the guy (cast member) with a grain of salt. He's there for a reason (and must perform with her) but he seems too snarky and I think the decidion will be made (mainly) by the casting director and writer.
I'm out for a few hours but look forward to any and all responses.

As for the blondes, who I get mixed up, I DO remember Emma. I thought she was mature, maybe too much, but at least she didn't have a screechy voice. However, if they want perky, that wouldn't be her!
I did like the first girl who auditioned and I recall Baily whom I liked as well. As for the other blondes, they're all a blonde blur.
Hey, how did you like Prince Charming.........HE thought he was so darn cool!!! However, he was very good.
That's it from a one time viewer.

No! Didn't even know it was on...what channel/network??...I loved the Broadway production of it (saw it on MTV)...which leads me to ask..
i noticed during Tonys that Grease got a couple of noms and that the lead, Zucco, was the same guy chosen in the reality show we watched...but the female lead was not familiar...so is the guy really doing well? My guys tho't he was NOT Zucco-looking...
I loved having Bostwick intro it during Tonys...He was the true original Danny Z...
