Do You Think People Ever Really Change???
No. - I don't.
Now, I will not lie - Ive been a bit Down in the Dumps lately, but I don't want this to be misunderstood as reactionary speculation to a gloomy stretch.
Ive always thought this. And I wonder if others do too.
See...Here is How I See It:
Its only the THINGS/OUTLETS/CAUSES AND REASONS that change. Not us.
When we are kids...we say hurtful things and hateful things and gossip by passing notes and at recess on the play ground and in the cafeteria at lunch.
When we are older...we say hurtful and hateful things and gossip in the nursing home and at church and on the internet and in the checkout line at the grocery store.
When we're kids...we cheat on our test and our curfew...When older, on our taxes and spouses.
When we're kids, we are obsessed by material things and our toys...stuffed animals and video games and model airplanes and dolls.
When we're adults we obsess over material things and our toys that are our cars and houses and laptops and other stuff.
When we're kids we worry about if so and so likes us - When we're adults we worry about if so and so loves us.
We worry, as kids, if we passed out test....Or, as adults, if we got the job.
But we worry still.
It makes me sad. :(
But...I do so still see kindness in folks. Im just sayin...

When my ex-boyfriend broke up with me, I was miserable and unhappy. We were planning to get married so all of my hopes and dreams were gone. I gained a lot of weight and my thoughts were negative.
I've been working on myself and trying to have a better attitude. I've been working out and losing weight. I've been going back to church and trying to become a more spiritual person. We make blessing bags at my church and today I gave out a blessing bag to a woman standing on the street corner. I hope that it made her feel better to know that people care about her.
People can change. I'm sorry that you are down in the dumps, Chris. Let me know if I can do anything to help you.

Yes sometimes people do change, for the better and at times for the worst. Usually something very dramatic happens in their life that causes the change.
Can you make someone change? No.

I don't believe they do. If someone was, for instance, mean when they were young, they will be the same throughout their life and vise versa. MM/Luna

Chris, what's got you down in the dumps? Is there room for one more? I always figure a little company goes a long way to help out. Either the company cheers you up or makes you want to get away from anywhere they are!! So, move over! There isn't much room in here!
Hmmm, I'll be pondering your question. Yes and no...we change, but then we don't... I'll be back.
I suppose it would just support your theory if I told you the kitchen floor is still not cleaned? = )
