All My Children Discussion Group
...I promise I'm not ignoring you but things have been hectic. I want to thank Mitch for giving the link to the recipes. I knew about this but lost it. I promise, promise, promise, to go back to my Thanksgiving topic and to those of you who haven't stopped by please take a look and share.
On my end Robert and Michael have been sick. Robert is very upset, because he has VIP tickets to a new club on LI, called McFadden's, and he was suppose to go to Atlantic City this weekend.
Both guys and Martin aren't well. I think Martin has a major ear infection, he has a DR appt. He suffers from vertigo and ringing in his ears. He refuses to stay home safe when he feels unsteady.
Oliver had surgery today. His dewclaw got infected and needed to be removed. It happened so fast. I'm picking him up at 7 tonight.
Today was a half day of work. 6th grade parent teacher conferences. I got to sit in on my first. Erik's Mom said that Erik loves working with me and she is so happy he is doing well. I got a very good complement from 2 of Erik's teachers. That's all good but I'm also getting a cold. .
So this is why I haven't been around much. I'm behind on my e-mail, my flowers are dying in Farm Town (Miss Bear can you or VG water them?) and I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week.
Thanks everyone. I got dressed today, determined to go out and do some shopping. It didn't happen. I still feel light headed from the cold and I'm sure the medicine isn't helping. Michael is better, Oliver is much more livelier, Robert is still running a fever and is concerned because he's wheezing a bit. If he doesn't get better he'll f/u with his Dr on Monday. I think he should go see his pulmonologists. Martin is feeling a bit better but tired since he's running around doing his chores and mine.

I'm so sorry all your boys (including Oliver) are down right now, izi. I know that puts a lot of pressure on you to keep things together, so the last thing you need is to be feeling off yourself. Try to take it easy ((( izi ))).
Such a shame that Robert missed these opportunities, but more will surface ... he's a talented young man. And kudos to you for doing a great job at work ... I'm so happy people have taken notice. You deserve it.
Don't worry about your flowers ... they've all had a drink.
