We see clips of Toni as she says dance is an addiction - her drug of choice. Okay then.
Nigel (a Brit, sorry but that cracked me up) announces IDOL and SYTYCD's numbers then asks everyone to get out and vote this year for President. He also announces that one can now register online.
Oh man we've gone IDOL. All the contestants are backstage by a screen and will come onstage one by one. It may work on IDOL but it should stay there. Our procedure was just fine.
Katee - SAFE
Will - BOTTOM (what?? shocking)
Comfort - BOTTOM (no surprise in the least)
We hear, although votes are already in, there will be solos. An hour is not needed UNLESS you give us three fabulous routines like last week. One of the best results shows.
Mark - SAFE (UT OH)
Chelsea - SAFE
Here is where the IDOL intrusion does NOT work. We already have a female in the bottom and two safe soooo it doesn't take much to know that Courtney is NOT safe. I felt so bad when I saw the look on her face but do they call her out so she can deal and be comforted by Comfort??? NO!!!
Twitch - BOTTOM (such a sad reaction but he's not as good as the other guys)
DO THEY BRING COURTNEY OUT NOW??? Noooooo. Unreal to put her through this and now leave her alone as they call:
Joshua - SAFE
Courtney - BOTTOM (I felt so bad for her having to wait for the obvious)
L.A. Ballet: Pas de Deux to The Man I Love. Simply lovely - every second. Lifts were done to perfection as Cat says exquisitely beautiful.
Solos
Comfort: I'm so done watching her.
Will: very cool, very different (he better NOT go)!
Twitch: always fun.
Courtney: wonderful (it better be Comfort)
Nigel is surprised by some in the bottom. Says Will and Twitch were the best last night and think voters assumed they'd be safe and gave their votes elsewhere. It happened to Sabrina Brian on DWTS. Such a shame for both guys that one of them has to go.
LL Cool J: I am one of the Ladies [who] Love COOL James. I'm not into Rap but this guy has got IT. Dancers were fine and he really got the crowd going.
Going Home:

Mark has technique but I think Nigel is right. They felt bad for him since he hasn't had great luck with partners. Will is a much better dancer than Mark and Twitch and he goes?? A shame. It also may be because he's danced with Debbie Allen and they know he'll do fine. Sure but he would have liked to win or at the very least stay for the top FIVE. I'm bummed!!
I missed the first show so my opinion is only based on the snippets they showed last night and their solo's. I thought Twitch had a much better solo last night than Will, altho I liked the little bit that i saw of Will's James Brown impression / solo from the night before ... but i wasnt shocked to see him go because all the guys are so good that now its just a popularity contest. And Courtney gave an excellent solo last night. She is very good but doesnt get much credit for it. I was glad to see Comfort go - finally !

Surprise night??? Not so for those reading the forums. The feelings expressed were quite different than those expressed here on MD.
I want to say that I LOVED the Pas de Deux to The Man I Love. THAT was simply gorgeous. It was breathtaking!!! Nix to LL Cool J. As you would say, he isn't my ''cuppa''. Toni is one weird ''organic'' lady!!! I hope we lose the ''IDOL factor'' next week.
Comfort - As it should be. Voters expressed dismay at her ''as usual'' hip hop routines.
Courtney - MY opinion here~ Quit messing with the hair and pulling it down over your face in every single dance. I find it annoying. I'm surprised that there have been no comments about that. It's annoying me more each week. I DID feel bad for her sitting all alone backstage. I agree, we don't need IDOL on this show. There seems to be a lack of strong feelings about her on the forums. I would see that as not being good for next week.
Katee - This girl seems to have a 50/50 split. Her work is either heaped with heavenly praise or she gets nasty comments. The attacks are directed at both her personality and her dance. In this case, I DO believe that you are correct in that people feel that she is being forced on them, mostly be Nigel. There are very strong feelings out there about her.
Will - The forums showed many voters not liking Will's solo routine with the wig. They felt that he should have conveyed the essence of the dance without the ''silly wig''. It was not well received nor was the solo. People simply didn't like it. Unlike you, many didn't understand the Slow Hip Hop and I read many comments using the words ''hated it''. Finally, there were many negative remarks about his personality although his technique was praised.
Twitch - Twitch was commented upon as the male dancer with the least amount of skills and his Contemporary was not well received. I read ''hated it'' regarding the dance and ''that stupid door''. The door routine wasn't a big hit. The B/way routine didn't seem to light up the forums either. I saw many negative comments.
Mark is liked for his personality, his technique, and persevering with less than stellar partners. He seems to have a huge fan base. People stated that they voted for him rather than Will due to personality factors. Will's technique lost out to Mark's likeability factor.
Chelsie & Joshua seem to be extremely well liked on the forums. You rarely see negative comments about them or their routines. Those two are SAFE.
Reading what is said elsewhere and looking at the polls, I think that Twitch is in danger next week. I'm not sure which girl.....probably Courtney.
I was very sad to see Will leave. I don't agree but wasn't surprised after reading all the comments on other sites. People just did NOT connect with him.
