Since we learned Jack is footing a substantial bill for the family expenses, and it must take just about every cent he makes, I think it's not unreasonable to look at the situation as him letting Carly to send the kids to camp. I hate to think what it's costing him for Carly's hair extensions.

Hair extensions? I haven't noticed. Is Maura wearing them? She has very thick hair so it's hard to believe she's wearing extensions with that short hair.

She certainly had extensions with her curly do, and as for now.... I doubt there are many actresses, soap or otherwise, who don't thicken their hair with extensions. Now that Carly's hair is about two feet wide, there's no way she isn't augmenting it. eom/D

Why would being the financial provider for the family make you the only parent that has a say in decisions about your children? Regardless of who pays the bills, Carly and Jack both have a say, and neither one of them should say they are ''letting'' the other do something with regard to their kids.

Because he's the one who knows what he can afford, maybe? It was made pretty clear yesterday that Carly is clueless about family expenses. Jack is the one who will have to figure out how to come up with the money, and he can't just pull it out of the air. eom/D

It's about the *way* that he said it, D.; his tone, his holier-than-thou attitude. I mean, when even *Katie* is disgusted by his condescension towards Carly (and you could tell she was)... eom MaryHatch

Jack never said anything about money being the concern with regards to the camp, he said Sage didn't want to go and he wasn't going to make her. This is a decision Jack and Carly should make together, especially since money does not seem to be the issue,

First of all, hair extensions are immaterial and unless you have proof I wouldn't even bring it up. Secondly, if my husband - whose income is larger than mine - 'let' me do anything I would be divorcing him ASAP. I may not make as much money, but I put as much or more work into this family as he does and I always have. Ninety percent of raising the kids and running the household has always fallen to me and if my husband had that kind of attitude he would be yesterday's news. Carly was trying to make a joint decision with Jack and discuss it - it's not up to him to 'let' her or 'not let' her send the kids to camp. Talk about male chauvinism at it's worst!!! ht

Of course hair extensions are immaterial. That was a JOKE (even though there's no question in my mind Maura has them). eom/D

I know some extensions are really good, like Katie's....but Maura's always had that thick hair. And she certainly isn't wearing extensions now. gallyn

I guess it's never occured to you that maybe she's always had extensions? Although her hair has NOT always been as thick as it is now. eom/D

D, I've watched. She's had that thick hair since the day she waltzed into Ro's Grosse Pointe mansion. It hasn't been as blonde, that's for sure. And I fail to see why she'd be sporting extensions now, with her bob. gallyn

Jack was sure catching hell from Team Ovary today.

Its like it was Halloween, and he was trick or treating for ass kickings.

When he went to talk to Carly ,again, I thought dude ,how much can you take of having your ass handed to you? just go to work.

As for the Jack crap in the preview, I suspect Holden will have an answer for that too.

I'm stuck at work, so I've not seen it. But it sounds bad. Will have to check it out on YouTube later. They are REALLY making me mad at Jack - and I've been a supporter of his for a while, in that I always felt he had a right to react as he did to the Nick situation.

Yes, Katie handled this just the right way. I wonder when Jack is going to explode from all the criticism he is getting from everyone in his life and the fact that he is the odd man out with no woman on his arm.

I'm embarrassed to say this, but the sub sandwich I had for lunch knocked me out and I woke up right before the previews. lol. I'll definitely watch it later though, just so I can spit on him. :) I LOVE ht's comment below. Jack needs to fall hard, flat on his butt, with the whole town condeming him. He's soooo past redemption, by a couple of years, it's the only thing left that will wake his worthless self up. This is one of the reasons that pisses me off about ATWT. People who need comeuppances, Jack, Katie, Emily, never get them. I will NEVER root for a character who doesn't get one. And as much as I hate Holden and his fists, I'd be thrilled if he gave Jack a knuckle sandwich on Monday!

BTW, the comment you mentioned is right up there with yesterday's when Jack told Carly, "I agreed with you. Enjoy it." Pig.
