Topic: Oh...Janet...you are soooooo....TOAST! SPOILER RE TODAY

Additional Comments: It appears that Carly, although still on the humble tip, isn't about to take any blame for Janet's inaction. Carly should have kicked that heifer out of her house the moment she started getting all snarly after SHE asked CARLY for information about Jack. However, it was worth it to watch Janet's face as Carly was able to get Jack on the phone on the first try. It was also worth it to see Jack's "WTH Do You Want Now, B!tch" look on his face when he realized that Carly had put Janet on the phone. Nice to see that Janet is going to continue to throw the "Rehab" card down. Damn, Carly couldn't win for losing on that one could she? Either she's an irresponsible drunk who's putting her kids through help or she's an irresponsible recovering drunk who abandon her kids to go to rehab...WHAT A JOKE.

Oh, and it didn't get past me that the only people she mentioned when she was talking about Jack's family were Janet, Jack and Liberty. I guess Sage and Parker don't count any more. And did anyone really believe that Janet gave a damn about Libby blowing off college applications? I know I didn't. How petty was it for Janet to tell Parker that she was happy to know that Liberty was mad at Parker too and not just her and Jack? I know that it might be natural for someone like Janet to think that...BUT TO SAY IT?

As for Liberty, I know she's grieving and wallowing in her own puddle of pain, but cheesy crackers girl, you might want to take some advice from the kid who's lost his father, sister and uncle PERMANENTLY in the span of 6-7 years AND who's lost his mother twice and now has an MIA father who won't come home because he blames himself for the death of his brother (and thinks that it's best for Liberty to live at the farm without him for a while).

It really is time for Janet and Liberty to move the hell out of the farm house and get a place of their own.

On a final note, I am happy to see that Carly went back home to Parker and happy to know that Parker wants someone to go get his father. Now, if only they have Carly make nicey, nice with Ro (Ugh) or at least mention that Carly is doing her son a solid AFTER she gets someone to look after them, I'll be back on board with this road trip idea, even though it's painful to watch Jack do this so that he can find Katie's next replacement man.

Message:

The look on Janet's face when Jack answered Carly's call was udderly...I mean uTTerly priceless. LOL!! That ignorant b!tch better take a look at the writing that is on the walls. Jack doesn't want to talk to his wife. Of course, he justified it by asking Carly if something was wrong with the kids, but the fact remains, he didn't care to talk to Janet. The heifer has no one to blame but herself. She drove the man away with her constant nagging about the TWO beers, and at the same time found a way to downplay Ralphie's involvement. Carly should have thrown the beast out in return for how she was treated at the farm. How sweet would it have been if Parker walked in, saw June Cleavage, and then said ''I suppose you want to kick me out of MY house, too.''

Now that Janet has made it perfectly clear that she's willing to leave Jack out there indefinitely, I have no problem with Carly going after him...that is, once she gets someone (either Rosanna or Emma) to watch Sage and Parker. At this time, Carly doesn't know Jack is out on a mission to get a man for the Man Canyon. Instead, she thinks he's in trouble, still blaming and punishing himself for Brad's death. In this instance, I do not think it's irresponsible for her to find him, as she fears he may be self-destructive.

I sincerely hope Jack and Carly return with Jack no longer in love with the bear he married. Oh, and don't get me started about how petty and immature it was for that monster to giggle and say she was glad Liberty was mad at Parker, too. WTH?! He's the only person she's been reaching out to, and yet her dumba$$ mother is happy she has no one....Oh, it just occured to me, she's happy that Parker is no longer in the equation. Selfish cow! And, that loud-mouthed broad could not care less about Liberty's college applications.

Replies: (list all replies)

  • Oh, didn't you LOVE that wide-eyed promise to Parker that she'd ''make sure'' Libby completes those applications?? The first thought that crossed my mind was---rrriiiighhht---let's see how many excuses Jan can come up with to set those aside and go shopping, to the movies, or go to a mother-daughter pasta making course---anything to tacitly ''okay'' Libby delaying that decision ''until it's too late'', much like the tactic she hoped would work with the abortion. *eyeroll* gallyn
  • It fits doesn't it? Janet wants Liberty to turn out just like her. She's stated more than once that she doesn't want Liberty to go away to college and stay right in Oakdale. She resents the hell out of her sister getting an education. Janet seemed almost giddy that Liberty was not interested in getting her applications in on time. And the first thing she did when she went upstairs to Lib's room was whine about her own troubles and woes, not one word about Liberty having to move on and build the life her father would have wanted her to have (which is why Brad wanted Liberty to get the abortion that SHE wanted in the first place). And I am not looking forward to Libby skulking around college-Parker complaining that she has no direction and no one to hang out with because everyone she knows is going to college and moving on. I get that she's depressed now, but I can just see Liberty pulling a Janet and whining about the fact that she's going no where rather than taking a look at the CHOICES she's made. And let's face it, Lib's pregnancy was the result of a stupid, selfish choice on Lib's part in the first place. eom Linny
  • Talk about your co-dependence! Janet does not want Liberty to leave her...ever. She wants it to be the two of them against the world, blaming the rest of the world for all their troubles, living off self-pity and regret. That's what she wants. Old habits die hard. Janet has a nasty entitlement mentality and she'd like Libby to share it. ht
  • Oh, yes...Jan of the ''job I can't just walk away from''....*eyeroll*....who suddenly is so freakin' blase about Libby's schooling. Yet when Libby was ''ruining her life marrying Parker'', college was all Jan could talk about. I swear, Jan won't be happy until Libby is glued to her side, working the same shift at the diner. Y'know...so Jan can ''look out for her''.... gallyn

Who came craaaawling to Carly? JANET. Whose daughter ran away to find her Dad? again JANET'S.

Janet always, always, always twists/lies about Carly to Jack. Janet is that insecure a ho.

And to take anothr pot shot at Parker is just sick. Parker knows how much Liberty can't stand her mother, but Liberty is afraid of her.

Carly has got to put Jugs away for good!

My favorite part was when, eyes damp with self-righteous tears and voice trembling with indignation for how she suffers, Jan looked at Carly -no drop of irony in her crazy, hypocritical words- and proclaimed:  "You sure are quick to point the finger."

Janet, you funny lunatic, you don't even want to know what finger I'm pointing at you, right now.  Thanks for making it so fun to hate you.

Oh my, you all really hate poor Janet don't you?  Well, I like Carly too, usually; but I think her behavior today was totally inappropriate, both with Craig and Janet.  Like Janet or not, she is Jack's wife and he is supposed to love her,and she deserves better treatment. This mean, bitter, vindictive Carly is not one I like.

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • Jan deserves better treatment? What did Carly do to treat her badly or disrespect her ''position'' as Jack's wife? Jan came sniffing for information. Carly wasn't withholding anything from her---she'd assumed that Jack had come home. And when push came to shove, (and Jan was sitting on her hands) Carly called him, and handed over the phone to Jan. I didn't hear Jan utter a thank you before she took off, considering taking Carly's advice after all either. As for Craig---he's a rat bastard. He deserves what he got. If he doesn't want to deal with Carly's 'tude---he should LEAVE her alone. Carly only got them arrested after they refused her request to leave. gallyn
  • Surely Carly can't believe that crap she handed to Craig today...nobody's ego is that inflated. I don't blame her for her being snippy to Juicy...she;s pushed the envelope too much lately.**
  • Why did she feel that it was necessary to lie about Craig and Ro ? I missed that,, I think. **
  • Janet is the one who showed up at Carly's house, asking Parker for information about Jack. Did she think Carly wouldn't be there or did she plan to throw her out of her own house like she throws everyone out of Emma's? Janet treated Carly like a POS when she stopped by the farm the other day, yet Carly helped Janet out...she got Jack on the phone which is what Janet wanted - to talk to Jack. That he answered Carly's call stuck in Janet's craw, but oh well. She wanted to talk to her husband so Carly got her husband on the phone for her and had the decency to leave the room to give Janet some privacy for her conversation. And you'll notice, after going to Phillie to make certain Jack was okay, Carly didn't chase after him, she went home without speaking to him and she was able to reassure her kids - I assume - that their dad was okay. That she didn't notify Janet? Who cares? Why should she speak to Janet at all? Janet made it clear that they have nothing to say to each other. ht
  • Oh please, the woman showed up at Carly's house with her fake ''nicey nice'' with Parker and picked a fight with Carly. The banshee got exactly what she deserved and I wish she'd gotten more of it. If someone came into MY home talking to me like that, I'll slap the living daylights out of her. And YES I hate Janet and her horrible, rude behavior is the reason I hate her. My dislike doesn't come from nowhere. Carly was nicer to that creep than she deserved IMO. eom Linny
  • And I love me some Craig, but the ratbastard screwed Carly's sister while Carly was in rehab, what the heck should Carly do? Invite him in for tea? I'd have kicked that SOB in his ''happy happy'' for cheating on me with my sister. eom Linny
  • Miss Marple, I hope you don't feel ganged up on. While I think Craig's earned a 'bout with mean, vindictive Carly----I don't understand how Carly was disrespectful to Janet. At the very least, it was a case of Janet wanting to kill the messenger. While she did manage to knock before entering (as opposed to bursting in like Craig felt entitled to do...*eyeroll*) Jan picked that fight with Carly. And that dig about her running off to rehab was uncalled for. Jan's wearing her martyrdom like a fur coat, and then complaining when someone refuses to kiss her ring and acknowledge her ''great'' suffering. On top of treating Parker like crap again today, it was just too much for me. Janet is the least sympathetic ''abandoned'' wife since Katie got walked out on by Mike for screwing Simon. gallyn
  • I tried to like Janet, but she makes it very difficult. I thought Carly was very nice to Janet by coming by and giving her information on Jack since she didn't know anything. But Janet, instead of thanking Carly, just wanted to pick a fight and blame Carly for her issues with Jack. Carly didn't make Janet harassed Jack to the point that he chose to leave town. Carly isn't making Jack refuse to take Janet's calls. Carly isn't keeping Jack from racing home to his loving wife. And Carly certainly didn't prevent Janet from being the suppportive wife she should have been when her husband was facing the aftermath of a family tragedy. Janet should stop acting like the widow and put her husband first for a change.
  • Mean, bitter, vindictive?? It is Janet who has been acting this way. How much crap is Carly supposed to take from this witch?
  • If Janet and Craig don't want to be mistreated by Carly, then they should stay the hell away from her house. They both brought their miserable behinds to her home looking, in Janet's case begging, for a confrontation. Each got just a taste of what they deserve, and I do hope Carly's got more payback in store for Craig, and oodles of nastiness for June Cleavage. (eom) Mandi
  • Thanks Gallyn, no I don't feel ganged up on. I was aware that my criticism of Carly's behavior toward both Janet and Craig, would draw disagreement. While I don't necessarily defend their actions, I had hoped Carly would rise above petty behavior but she lowered herself to their position to my disappointment. I like Carly but I cannot defend her actions since her return./MissM
  • poor Janet... That's the best laugh I've had all day. (eom) Mandi
  • MissM, I'm glad---I too wish Carly could have taken the ''high road'' and simply cut both Ro and Craig out of her life, but I understand why she can't. I do think she's trying to do that with Janet, who just keeps keeping shots on her though. And I'm glad she's not taking Jan's crap. ;) gallyn

Oh yeah, Janet was a real piece of work again today...she never disappoints!  The audacity of that woman to be mad at CARLY b/c Jack ran out on her to go find himself (or whatever).  She was the one who didn't want to hear it when Carly told her to go out and look for Jack.  Now that Carly has located him, she's totally blaming everything on Carly!  That shrew really needs to go take Libby Lou on a long trip to look at colleges or something....   OTOH, I am really looking forward to the day that Carly totally unloads on this cow and lets her have it!

Could you beeeeLIEVE that ManTrap had the nerve to say Carly "dumped" her life and responsibilities on everyone else to go to rehab?? Seriously? Coming from the woman who wanted JACK to spend the next EIGHTEEN years raising "her bastard kid's bastard kid"? It's REHAB, FCOL!

What "great burden" was placed upon Janet in this deal? Apparently Craig and Ro did 99% of the parenting this summer. Jan's summer was spent shooting green jealous eyes at her sister's "perfect" life, getting a part time job on "Oakdale NOW!" and working double time to prevent Libby's abortion and adoption plans.

And no---I couldn't believe the pleasure she took in the fact Parker was on the outs with LibbyLou as well. It's only what she's wanted from the moment Libby came home from the abortion clinic in Chicago and wouldn't talk to her mother. What a BITCH. I'm only surprised she didn't escort Parker to the door and gleefully tell him not to bother her daughter since she's made it clear she doesn't want to see him.

Of all the self-serving tripe, her pitiful "you can't make someone come home---and you shouldn't have to" speech made me want to hurl. NO---I suppose the only people you should force into doing exactly what you want are seventeen, pregnant and planning to abort her child.

I hope Carly wipes up the floor with this "lady" some day in the near future. The VERY near future.

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • i agree with everything you stated. what is apparent to me & Jack is that both Janet & Liberty hold him responsible for Brad's death. these two self serving simpletons aren't focused on what really happened. Janet has abandoned Jack before he took off. she will look to blame all others for the desstruction of her marriage. while other want Carly to rip Janet I want it to be Jack. Marty
  • At least Carly is finally looking like she wants to wipe the floor with her. Janet is a real piece of work. ht
  • I also agree except with the part of calling innocent children, bastards. Why is that necessary? What do people get from calling innocent babies and children demeaning names like that and yes, I know its a soap but those names are a reality.
  • I hope your objection to the use of the word ''bastard'' is directed at Janet/the writers, as the quote came directly from her. For the record, I too object to using such a hateful term to describe an innocent child. (eom) Mandi
  • Good Lord Tweety, blame the orginal source for that comment --- JANET. Those words came STRAIGHT from the horse's mouth. JANET used those EXACT words when she lit into Jack about him being happy that Liberty's child died. SHE is the one who said, ''I guess your happy that you don't have to take care of my BASTARD's BASTARD child''. JANET said that. That's why it was used here. Everyone, including Jack, was shocked, which was one of the reasons he stalked off and started drinking at Yo's the night he shot Brad. Don't blame gallyn for repeating what THE CHARACTER SAID. Janet called her own child and the unborn baby bastards, not gallyn. RME. eom Linny
  • Mandi, I'm pretty sure most of us got that message when gallyn used the QUOTES. It must have slipped notice of some. eom Linny
  • And Mandi, it fits that Janet would use such a vulgar word as a weapon in referring to her child and Liberty's unborn child. Most decent human beings wouldn't go there under any circumstances but Janet didn't bat an eye when used that word to describe Liberty and the baby. And people wonder why we find this beast so vile! eom Linny
  • Yeah, Tweety---I was just repeating what Jan said. The only true bastard on this show IMO is Craig. It seems like ninety percent of the children on this show are conceived out-of-wedlock. That outburst was just SO out of the blue, I don't think I'll ever forget Jan hurling that accusation at Jack, the schmo who kept shutting his mouth when Jan was trying to force Libby into an adoption. gallyn
  • Linny, Janet just continues to show that she is trash. The use of that hateful word was just one example. And to think, that was the baby she wanted to raise (at least until she coerced Libby Lou to take it). It's no wonder Liberty is troubled... (eom) Mandi
  • No, I didn't hear Janet use the word, nor did I see quotes. I didn't mean to accuse anyone of anything. Just stating how much I hate the use of that word towards innocent children.
  • It's all good, tweety. ;) gallyn
