Ok, summer is around the corner so TPTB needs a new tennie bopper or two, even better a surprise love child.

But what mother in her right mind would let her 16 year old daughter go off by herself to a strange town, with no money to meet her birth father (Brad). Unless Mom has some serious drug/alcohol/mental issues, no mother would agree to that. She may agree to set up a formal meeting with the long lost Dad if the kid wanted to meet him, not let her go out on her own with zero moula. And Liberty did not run away as she called her mom to say she was ok.

I can see the story more beleivable if Liberty had run away. The again maybe she did and is lying.

I think liberty ran away. In spoilers ive read it say liberty has secrets . So maybe not telling her mom was one of it .( Thats why janets in town looking for liberty) . Liberty is a firecracker that for sure has for her and parker playing kissing cousins i'm not sure how I feel about that .

parker is an adopted snyder...so they aren't actually related.

Not only are Liberty and Parker not related, they're totally strangers. Personally, I hate that Parker changed his name. It wasn't really necessary for him to be adopted or for Jack to become his legal guardian if something happened to his mother. Also, the last thing Oakdale needs is more peopel named Synder. (Mrs. B. H.)Jack ever adopted Parker.

This is the same story w/a different name. Before it was Nikki & Abagail. They took off, w/o their mothers' permission, to find their bio-dads. They inflicted themselves on Oakdale as these bratty, mouthy, opinionated teens, then left just about the time they matured into slightly interesting young women.

I don't think Janet "let" Liberty do anything. It's kind of obvious she ran away. When Liberty called, she was probably leaving a message on voicemail. If she even dialed the right number. Although, why Brad didn't hit redial and check is beyond me.

Brad didn't acutally talk to Liberties mother when Liberty called her so I think she did run away and she was faking the call.
