Alright, these two have off-the-charts chemistry, but I think it'd be nice if maybe Casey was the catalyst for Em to make some positive changes in her life. Too little, too late? I hope it doesn't devolve to just lust, though who could blame Emily for wanting to put some serious mileage on that boy's bod? I just don't want the fallout of Margo and her endless preaching and scolding; I've had enough of that for several lifetimes. What would you like to see happen? Romance? Business partnership? Friendship? Other?
While I would love to see Emily grow up a bit, w/Casey's assistance, I wouldn't hold my breath. That would actually mean getting her OUT of the rut the character has been in for decades!
I really hate the *C* word. Two talented actors can always produce sparks if given even a half decent script. Yes, Emily and Casey have some *C* but does that have to imply something sexual? Casey is a 21 year old man who has been in prison, so he would probably have sex with any attractive woman and Emily is certainly that. Being immature he might even confuse lust with love, but our Em would know better. She'd probably explain it away by saying, "it was a mistake, OK?"
OT: Henry and Emily also had *it* but nothing physical developed. I'm sorry that the writers seem to have forgotten that friendship, and that apparently the BJ Green money is still languishing in some police evidence locker.
Oh, I definitely want them to sleep together. I want to see Margo driven insane, and then I want to see Tom take Daniel away from Emily forever. I want Chris and Allison heavily involved.
Sick? Twisted? Well, whatever... It'll make great drama, that's all I know.
