Topic: I like jack but this bothered me...

I know I will get blasted but I love CarJack- they were the reason I started watching and continue to watch- I hope the writers can make Jack less of a jerk towards her and her not snivel at his feet..but that aside- I appreciate the fact that Jack went to warn Carly about Roseanna and Craig- he is obviously still concerned about her and he even gave her that pep talk in the church. I get he is going though a rough time- of course- but when the policeman said Carly was there in Philly why didn't Jack at least try to call her or wait for her. He knows she just got out of rehab-maybe found out about Ro and Craig-what if she fell off the wagon again? And isn't he wondering who is with the kids? The least he could do was call her even if to say why the heck are you following me-go home? The writers should have at least had him wait or call her IMHO that would be more in line with Jack's character.

That's an easy one--because Jack is the father of her children. She tried to get Janet to go after Jack but Boobs refused. Then she saw him on the ledge...

I agree that Carly should have gone to Philly, since Cleavage couldn't be bothered. She had to stay for Libby Lou and still cook up meals for a nearly empty household. But, if Carly learns that Jack is on a quest to find a man to fill the man canyon's void, she ought to haul her tail home to her family. Finding Katie's next great love is none of Carly's business. She will make it her business if it gives her a *reason* to trail around after Jaaaack...she's one pitiful person...too bad she didn't grow a backbone at rehab...it's depressing to see a woman who seems to enjoy being a doormat for the foot-wiping Jaaack ! YUCK !! **

Yeah, right..St. Jaaack..NOT !! When has he EVER thought of anyone in that respect ? With his ego ? NOT !! He could care lass about who he inconveniences, especially Carly..in his eyes she's there for him to wipe his feet on anytime he pleases. **

BB, Carly IS always there for Jack to wipe his feet on. She puts him before everyone, including herself. I hate the prospect that she will be leaving their children to follow him. While I don't think Jack should be alone, Carly has to get her priorities straight, and that means putting her children first. The Rack is putting Liberty first, even though it's her husband who ran away...FROM HER. (eom) Mandi

Exactly, Mandi ! Amidst all the manicotti, June C. could find some time for her husband..it just isn't Carly's responsibility nor is it her business to go trucking off, leaving her children. As I said yesterday, I think part of her problem is that *old habits die hard* and she's used to chasing after him. She needs to step back and get her priorities in order ! **
