Am I the only one that is very excited about the story ahead? From the sound of the spoilers, Luke and Noah break-up, and Luke gets involved with Dr. Oliver. This is all good. To begin with Luke and Noah are terrible together. They had some chemistry at the outset, but that is long gone. Second, Luke and Dr. Oliver really heat up the screen. Reid has just the snarkiness needed to deal with Luke's co-dependency and entitlement issues. Last, with ATWT going off the air, they can handle the gay storyline like all the others. OLTL had a real gay love scene, and there is no reason ATWT can't do the same. And for the first time in daytime, they could have a real gay love triangle with Luke, Noah and Reid.
I know TPTB will disappoint (probably by relegating this story to minimal air time while shoveling CarJack crap down our throats), but for a moment I am excited!
For the life of me, I just cant begin to imagine Luke and Dr. Oliver House getting involved with each other. Based on Reid's personality and demeanor, I find it difficult to believe he would fall for Luke. He doesnt strike me as the type that would be receptive to Luke's clingy always in your face display of emotion. Many women would love that in a guy, but for the most part, those actions just scream *emotional mess*. Maybe the good Doctor was brought to the canvas to portray the arrogant, uncaring, egomaniac, just to throw us off track, when in reality, there may be a softer side, that we have yet to see. Maybe he took a liking to Luke, from day one, wasnt ready for a relationship, and put his guard up. Maybe he was hurt by someone and afraid of getting hurt again.
Actually, other than showing concern for his boyfriend's blindness and his missing father, Reid has only seen Luke angry, aggresive and demanding. If Reid's true personality is the personality we have observed, and he gets a load of Luke in the puppy dog eyed, hovering, clingy, in your face mode, that is the go to when he falls in love, Reid could run as far and as fast as he could. I think he would be appalled. LOL
If anyone can slap some sense into that whiny, spoiled brat, it's Dr. Oliver. I'm all for it.
What's interesting is that BOTH Luke and Noah have better chemistry with the doc than they do with each other. Watching Nuke is like watching paint dry.

I see it more as they are shoving "Jacket" down our throats but, that is for another topic.
I am interested in seeing how this storyline with Luke will play out. I agree that Nuke is boring. I like Noah but, dislike him with Luke and I have never liked Luke but, am willing to see how he plays with a new love interest. Being with Reid may change the character... make him more mature and less whiny. Should be interesting.
