Topic: Mike...and WTG Jack...a$$

I miss Mike.  Can't believe I said that.  He and his wife would be a good addition to the show.

And then there's Jacka$$.  A man with a severe neurological problem gets hit to the ground with a heavy fist.  Wow.

Yeah, that seemed to me to be a typical Jack type over reaction- you would think given recent events Jack might be more inclined to think a little more and act a little less- especially when that action involves potentially deadly force. I was not watching too closely- was there a particular reason Jack could not have just called Mike's wife to bust him rather than busting him in the mouth?

Jack certainly does not seem to be questioning his instincts or doing much soul searching.  This story is about finding Katie a bed mate- it just happens to be Jack.

It's not that I condone Jack's actions either. But given the bigger picture---a man with tremors racing---I understand why Jack would have prevented Mike from putting his life in danger at ANY means necessary. Here Mike is with a new wife and child--the EXACT situation Brad was in. The guy deserves a little slack. ;) gallyn

I would agree with you, but Mike is already injured, and a hit to the head isn't going to help any. Why use violence to get your point across? ...Canna

Because there was no other way to stop Mike from killing himself. Talking wasn't going to do it. Jack probably saved his life. Let's not forget that in the equation shall we? Marty

CL, go and watch those scenes again----Jack was talking up a storm to try and get through to Mike. He only used ''violence'' as a last resort. And let's not play down Mike's idiocy here---he's injured, but it seems to be nerve damage not some neurological disease that has any chance of becoming worse because Jack hit him. gallyn

I LOVE what Jack did. And best of all...and most importantly...SO DID MIKE!!!!!!!!! Jack saved the day!
