Topic: Good and bad stuff today, but another re-write of history

Additional Comments: Janet said she told Liberty not to go looking for her father, that he would be the same jerk (or something like that) that he was back when she got pregnant. I recall the opposite - Liberty set out to find her father because her mother was too difficult to live with and Janet set out to get Brad back because she'd carried a major torch for him since high school. Very annoying.
The other bad - the Code Blue scene.
The good - TC and MP - good acting today. And Kim looked fabulous!

Tuesday's episode was very well done. I was moved by Katie's scenes with Brad. I was also touched by Kim's compassion for Janet. It's just a shame Audrey had to be shown at all, and I won't even go into how disgusted I was by Janet's over-the-top walk down memory lane. I wish someone would shut that woman up, and offer her a sweater to cover all that boobage.

Excellent work from Michael Park and Terri Colombino, but I have to say that Terri especially knocked my socks off.
Why have they been wasting this actress all these years in idiotic stories about promiscuous sex and pet bunnies? Katie should have been a heroine, a loveable character. I fear it's too late now, no matter how many times they call her "Kate."

Message: Well, I thought it was all good stuff and the acting was very good! Except for the annoying writing where Janet hounded Jack about his two drinks along with her happy rambling rememberance of Brad playing football while everyone waited as the poor man lay at death's door. I wanted Jack to say 'Janet Shut-up' but instead he gave her a weak smile. At the end when Katie brought the baby and laid him in Brad's lifeless arms..I really lost it..even giving out a sob. No show, soap or otherwise, has caused that reaction in me for a longtime. It was just so sad. All I can say is..Well Done ATWT!

Message: I'm not seeing that as a history rewrite. Knowing Janet as I do, I wouldn't for a minute doubt that when this all came up, she badmouthed Bradley as the chump who knocked her up and deserted her.
My take was that at the time, she and Libby were fighting, and Libby (having seen Brad and Katie's marriage on TV and being told he was her father) took off to meet him. Janet (the *coughcough* good mother that she is) fully expected Brad to blow Libby off--that's why she didn't come right after her "precious LibbyLou", thinking that she'd learn her lesson and appreciate Janet more.
When Brad didn't do that, Jan assumed she could weasel her way back into Brad's life because he loved their daughter.

Message: TC and MP did great work today, that's for sure. No matter how good TC's performance was, though, I can't get too broken up because I've never fully bought into Katie and Brad as a "great love." Of all the men there have been in Katie's life, Brad is the only one that never seemed at all credible to me. Simon - of course. He was her first love and she walked through fire for him. Mike and Jack - sure. In both cases they were good friends before they fell in love, and I always like that. Henry - nobody ever even tried to persuade me he was Katie's "great love" so it didn't matter. But Brad was Katie's big dumb booty call, her rebound guy. That's not "great love" material.
