The guy is supposed to have a GAPING BULLET WOUND in his CHEST.
Give me a freakin' break.

Ya'll are being ridiculously picky! You have to remember WHY he was doing this!!!
Big gaping chest wound was NOTHING to keep him from doing something, ANYTHING---FOR HIS PRECIOUS KATE!!!

Message: Exactly, Shame he must died from using all that strength putting the necklace on kate. Realistically katherine would have put it on herself. Its sad I want to enjoy their scenes but it was little missed details that buged me.

Message: A minor detail to be sure, but that necklace must have a magnetic clasp. There's no way anyone can fasten a regular jewelry clasp as easily as Brad did. In my experience, a magnetic clasp means cheap junk jewelry.

Message: I know! My husband was in the kitchen during that scene and I screamed out that Brad was putting the necklace on Katie. One minute he seemed hale and hardy and the next he was dead. Ridiculous.

I thought exactly the same thing and it took me out of the scene completely. I'm nursing a fractured shoulder and trust me, leaning and moving and reaching have taken on a whole new importance and difficulty factor and I'm not even talking major thoracic surgery ... he'd be in really rough shape.

Message: You took the words right out of my mouth!!!! The man just had heart surgery, wasn't expected to pull through and he leans up (with NO help) and fastens a necklace. GIVE ME A BREAK.........my grandson has had open heart surgery and you DON'T look like Brad, are NOT as coherent as Brad and CERTAINLY not in shape to put jewelry on anyone. ATWT you didn't think this one through.

Message: I couldn't quite buy that one either. Brad was the healthiest, strongest and best looking dying person I've ever seen on a soap! But wow, for him to be able to sit up, lean over and fasten that necklace around Katie's neck was remarkable just mere minutes before dying. And when Bob started chest compressions on his bullet wound I could just imagine how that must feel. No wonder he didn't respond! OUCH!

Message: I must say that Brad was the best looking dead person I have ever seen. No blueness or paleness. Wow! I hope I look that good when I'm gone.

Message: Not to mention, having the fine motor skills to fasten that damned necklace...I can barely do that on the best of days. ;)

Message: oh yeah, in addition to being able to talk very clearly and strongly, he is able to swing his arms around a person's neck, and use fine motor skills to hook a necklace! Puh-lease! I can barely do those things after a long day at work! I guess his dying was supposed to be 'out of the blue', but GMAB, the guy was shot in the chest, a little weakness should be expected!

I happen to catch this. When Bob called a code blue he started pressing on Brad's chest right in the spot where he got shot.
