Additional Comments:
Her remarks about Susan in front of Allison were not in character of Kim. She certainly has reason to not like Susan - and I'm no fan of Allison - but Kim would never be so rude or insensitive. Bad writing. At least Bob was his usual respectful self.
And for the record Kim, you certainly fell for one of Susan's men. You were in love with Dan Stewart when he was still married to her.

Message: I agree with the others. Kim has plenty of reason to feel the way she does. And yes, you are right about her and Dan, too. Kim can't be perfect all the time. Once in awhile, she has to put her foot in her mouth like everyone else does. And Bob looked suitably embarrassed by the whole thing - his past with Susan is why she really hates the Stewart women and he just wanted the whole conversation to go away.

Message: She has always been pretty judgmental, but it seems she is way holier than thou these days, almost bitter. She used to have a sense of humor, didn't she??

Message: I'm glad they played it at least partly for laughs, because I really felt uncomfortable, but for Kim, not Allison. Kim reminded me of Sophia on The Golden Girls. After her stroke, she wasn't able to censor her comments, so her thoughts came out of her mouth like a gumball machine, usually to the delight of the audience. Kim's remarks hit me the same way; it looked like she couldn't even help it!

Message: Kim's faux pas didn't really bother me. Kim is the model of an elegant, poised woman EXCEPT when it comes to the subject of Stewart women. It's like her Achilles heel.
Unlike the (IMHO) unrealistic portrayals of people "just getting over it", I really believe that Susan and Bob's affair still eats at Kim and colors all her dealings with Alison and Emily. Not to mention the fact that to Kim, Chris will always be her "golden boy" and the relationship failures are never his fault!
I like my "good" soap characters to have some flaws and this is Kim's.
