Wouldn't it have been fun if the book store had turned out to be the Wade Rare Book Store where Penny and her husband hung out back in the '60s. It was one of Oakdale's more intresting sites. But maybe the writers forgot that bit of history.

Message: Penny sold the bookstore to Lisa when she moved to New York City.Longtime viewers may recall Jay Stallings saved Melinda Gray from the fire.Ironically a few short months later Jay died in mine cave-in and Melinda drowned in a lake pummeled by a runaway boat.

Message: Awww...I remember the Wade Book Store. I LOVED Penny and Jeff! I've had a chance to see a few plays starring Rosemary Prinz and she still looks fantastic. What ATWT memories!
