Topic: Jack WTH is wrong with you....SPOILERS RE TODAY AND PREVIEWS FOR TOMORROW!!!

Topic Posted by: Linny

Additional Comments: I guess we will have to wait and see, but what on earth could possibly be the reason for Jack pulling a gun on Craig and Rosanna? I get that he's grieving but this is going WAAAAAAYYYY too far.

And the sound of Janet's supposed after-shock remorse was deafening wasn't it? It's always nice to hear from someone else that your father was killed by your uncle. And I loved Janet's explanation..."I was trying to protect you". FROM WHAT? THE INEVITABLE TRUTH? And I haven't watched yesterday's or all of today's epi, so I am curious, has Janet brought up Uncle Ralphie's role in all of this? Has Janet warned Liberty that the man who was going to "handle" the adoption of her unborn child is a blood thirsty killer and kidnapper and is still on the loose and desperate so LOOK OUT!? If is was me, I'd be contacting all of my loved ones, including Terri and warning them that Ralph is on the loose and quite possibly psychotic.

Oh that's right Janet is shell shocked...I couldn't tell what with her ensconced in Emma's kitchen COOKING.

I don't know what causes Jack to do what he does, but its okay with me.  I want Jack to sink further and further into misery so that Carla can come to his rescue.  She'll be the only one who will be able to get through to him.  So, I say, go Jack, lose your job, do something else stupid, hit rock bottom, its Carly to the rescue.

Hi Linny!
Jack's just such a trooper - he'd rather be at the police station or out on the streets than home listening to Janet nag him about concealing his drinking. I bet Janet lets it slip to somebody that Jack had downed some alcoholic beverages before he shot Brad.

I remember Jack talking about Craig and Ro right before he went to the warehouse and shot Brad;"it's Craig". imo Somehow Craig is sticking in Jack's brain as the cause or thinking Craig was right all along aout Jack.

I am liking this Jack big time, :) the tremors, the remorse, the emotion! Brava!

Janet is still self involved, stirs the suace; not a care in the world. what a itch.

No, Linny! Other than Janet's 'it's all his fault' out the side of her mouth, she has not acknowledged a damn thing about dear, wonderful 'Uncle Ralphie'. This is quite strange to me. At least Terri is going through the tough realization of what Ralph is and we're seeing it. I haven't seen Janet's disbelief and shock at finding out he's responsible, or her regret and guilt, or her concern for her family. Why isn't she tracking down Terri to talk about this and to warn her about this man? Why isn't she in utter disbelief and outraged that her 'Uncle' who loves them so much could do such a horrific thing to her family? This is just bizarre!

  • ''Why isn't she in utter disbelief and outraged that her 'Uncle' who loves them so much could do such a horrific thing to her family?'' And Roxie, this is exactly why some of us believe that this woman knew more about Ralph than she's admitting. Where is the shock? Why isn't she reacting the way Teri is? That's how you react when you learn something terrible about someone that you DIDN'T KNOW BEFORE. Janet may not have known *just* how shady Ralph was. She may not have known details. But she knew enough that she was not shocked by this turn of events. eom MaryHatch
  • Shouldn't that be ''udder disbelief'' if we are talking about June Cleavage? eom Linny
  • MH this is exactly what logic & deductive reasoning is telling us about Janet. the woman can't shut up for 5 minutes on any & all subjects. the man responsible for her daughter's fathers death leaves her speechless. Jack's two beers however put her in overdrive & obsession. TPTB better address this or I will be pissed. one has to believe Terri as it's being portrayed. that's not happening with Janet. Marty

Actually we don't know what Janet did or didn't tell Liberty due to the way it was shown. They were sitting on the porch and the camera was shooting the scene from outside. We could only see her tell Liberty and not hear most of it.

  • We do know that June Cleavage didn't tell Liberty that Jack shot Brad. Liberty confronted her, and she admitted it. (eom) Mandi
  • ''June Cleavage''-- LOL! Oh, Mandi-- that's priceless! eom MaryHatch

I could not believe my eyes with that preview.  Can't wait until tomorrow to see what caused that over reaction. Is Jack out of control?  Maybe he'll shoot Henry next.

  • I was thinking that he might turn the gun on himself and the preview was just a red herring. eom Linny

From what I understand Jack really begins to lose it. The reality is setting in on him. Although pulling a gun on Craig is kind of fun don't you think? Hopefully he has "two beers" before hand.LOL

  • Somehow, I just knew that you and gallyn would be snickering at Craig being held at gunpoint by Jack. LOL! eom Linny

She didn't say that Ralph shot Brad, but she said 'he was responsible.'  Then Liberty or Janet said something like 'it doesn't matter, it's not going to change things, or bring him back.'  So that was Janet's out.

This is why, in real life, the officer in question is suspended of his duties and his gun taken away from him while the shooting case is being investigated. We'll just have to wait and see why Jack stormed into Carly's house, brandishing a gun at Rosanna and Craig. It seems as though he flipped out. (With good reason.)

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • Yeah, you'd think that Margo would have put Jack on administrative leave even after ''clearing'' him under the circumstances. He is certainly not in the proper frame of mind to be brandishing a weapon and going after Ralph. And as usual, he shouldn't even be on the case given that his brother, sister-in-law and newborn nephew were his victims. eom Linny
  • Even Janet, stupid as she is, commented on how she thought Jack would be on desk duty. (eom) Mandi

Janet made a passing reference to Ralph's involvement "it's all his fault"...but either she didn't get into details or we just didn't hear it because they cut away as she told Libby for a wide reaction shot.

As for Jack---just knowing the spoilers, my guess is that in a sick way, he's looking for someone to hold him responsible and goes to Craig to get flayed alive. I know Jack admits it to Katie tomorrow, and she absolves him, blaming Henry. I'm not crazy about Jack pulling a gun on anyone in his house, (or Carly's, if we're being technical) but I sure don't mind him making Craig sweat either.

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • Well at least she brought up Ralph. Was there even a tinge of guilt, surprise or remorse in her voice? Just curious. eom Linny
  • Maybe a little surprise...but I wouldn't go as far as guilt or remorse. IMO. Terri, on the other hand, seemed completely shocked and horrified about Ralph's actions and her part in ''bringing him to town.'' gallyn
  • Oh...and your outrage at Jack holding a gun on Craig is OVERWHELMING...LOL! I knew better than to expect anything less than glee from you and Marty about that particular part of the previews. I was actually laughing to myself thinking about you two smiling devishly as Jack finally snapped and pointed that gun at Craig. eom Linny
  • Okay...I'm busted...in spite of the circumstances, just seeing Craig look like he was about to wet himself made me smile. ;) I only wish it was Hunt Block---even though I don't think he could act his way out of a paper bag. gallyn

Janet is getting more ridiculous each day. Of course Liberty needed to know all the circumstances of Brad's death, and it should have come from her mother. Instead, Janet once again took the easy way out for herself and only told part of the story.

And for goodness sakes can't she put on an apron instead of nearly letting her glad bags fall in the sauce? One of them nearly fell out as she laid on the bed comforting Liberty.

  • It's getting really tiresome isn't it? Wardrobe is obsessed with JP's bossom. I'm just sick and tired of them jutting into every single scene. You're right, they have become separate characteres on this show. eom Linny
  • LOl-a new name-
  • LMAO at your *glad bags* falling in the sauce! And ITA about the boobage on the bed....I really thought those suckers were gonna pop out! How can JPinson stand working like that! Not that I am that well *gifted* in the bosom area, but I think it would drive me nuts thinking that one of them is about to pop out at any moment....eom/NOLA
  • Warobe don't seem to be the only ones obsessed with Janet's breast. ??
  • Comments about Janet's overexposure are in direct proportion to the amount of air time those puppies get. Less shameless flashing of boobage will result in less discussion about them. (eom) Mandi
  • That's right. if wardrobe will stop showing them, we'll hapily stop talking about them. eom Linny
