Additional Comments: Is he really gone for good? I hadn't read anything about the actor having a "final airdate", so I wondered if he will be back.

Message: Yes I believe that Adam is gone for good. I think that this is due to the change in headwriters. I think they wrote Adam out after the hearing with the idea he would return after a few weeks, but then the headwriter from Guiding Light joined ATWT and plans changed. I am upset with Adam leaving because I liked the actor and I thought there was more story left for Adam. I was hoping that after Tom learned that Riley was Adam, that the rest of Oakdale would learn the truth too. I was hoping to see some scenes of Adam with his relatives like his Uncle Craig, his GrandPa Bob, and GrandMa Lisa. I was looking forward to a romance between Adam and Allison. I can only hope that if the rumors are true that As The World Turns is going to be cancelled that someone will have the smarts to bring Adam back for the last few months to help finish wind up the storylines.

I just listen to a web radio show tonight with someone connected to Soap central.com and it was said that Adam was supposed to come back but most likely the storyline was dropped midstream because of Tom Pelphrey's character Mick coming on board. He's supposed to be involved in Barbara,Paul & Emily's storylines. We know Maddie will be paired with Hunter. I'm thinking Casey will be in a triangle with Hunter & Maddie. Because as usual Casey & Alison will fight & break-up. Don't know why that shuts Adam out. Maybe the actor playing him didn't spark any interest with fans. If that's the case it's not his fault. The writers bungled Adam's return from the 1st day he came back into the story.
