Additional Comments: Jack's mother will not make it toBrad's funeral I gather. Valerie Perrine I think did a good stint a few years back (I believe her name was Delores?). I think it would have added to the emotional impact as well considering the history of this family. I know that budgets & such are important these days but for this viewer it was kind of nice seeing Seth at Holden's "funeral" TPTB could have gone an extra step I think.

I don't think you have to be a psychiatrist to realize that Dolores' influence on Jack's life weighs heavily on the CarJack relationship.

I need my memory refreshed, too. I know that Delores killed Burt Snyder, Jack and Brad's dad. But was she still drinking when Valerie Perrine left? I thought they'd worked through stuff and redeemed her at least a bit.

In the past Canna has mentioned something about Carly giving Delores money. What was that about?

I don't believe she was drinking when she left ATWT. I'm pretty sure Delores owed money to the IRS for a substanital amount because of a guy who got her into trouble. Carly lent her the money despite the fact that Delores treated Carly like crap because she thought Julia 1 was a better woman for Jack. Marty

And when she did bail out Delores from the hounding IRS, Carly told her not to tell anyone that she gave her the money. If I remember correctly, it did slip out that Carly gave her the money, but along with all Carly's other good deeds, it went unnoticed among the good people of Oakdale. /mia

Dolores is just an awful person and I see no reason why Jack should even feel obligated to track her down and inform her. By now she's probably dead or getting wasted in some fleabag boarding house. Jack needs to move on and keep negative "triggers" like Dolores out of his life.

Refresh my memory. Was this the story? For years Jack thought Brad had run over their father but really the mom was the one and Brad only covered for her. Anything else I should remember? eom/Allison

Chances are, they are never going to mention this woman. She won't be at the funeral and no one will think about calling her.
