You mean Tess Shelby, from Alva? Mandi, I do a PERFECT Tess imitation. I mean PERFECT!!!! I did it one day at work, back in the 90s, for a lady that worked with me who watched the show, and she was laughing so hard she actually peed her pants! She was SO mad with me! I'd do my thing with my aint Barbura, and my unca hallie, and that dirt pig farmer huh-utch, and my cousin paul with that red sports car, and how I NEVER wanted to go back to AL-vuh! fee

She is a brat but she is livening up Brad and Katie. It would be easy to make the newlyweds boring or embroil them in another love triangle or quad. Liberty is giving them something entirely unexpected to be challenged with. And anything that give Brad plenty of screen time is fine with me even if I do agree with Katie about his parenting.

I find Liberty fun to watch. I can laugh at her, but not with her. She is trouble from the get-go and will liven up the program I'm sure. Maddie was refreshingly wholesome and I miss her. One cannot say the same about all the other boring teens we've seen through the years: Sarah Kassnoff, Abigail, Celia, Dani, and Lucy. The only other teen of worth on the program was Nicki. Nicki had so many possibilities. Nicki clashing with Carly was exciting, each one was right in their own respect, and it was difficult taking sides.
I wish I could say something positive about Juicy Janet, but it seems that she will be a cartoon character. Before she starts, I want her gone.

I not only can't stand the brat, I find the situation BORING.
When Maddie came on, she was likeable from the start. I loved her daydreams about Henry taking on Mike.

I liked Maddie from the get go! It was later when she started trying to kill people and attack Jade all the time I got to where I couldn't stand her. But I loved her at first! fee

I think there was a male teen who was the son of Julie and Caleb. If I remember correctly, his name was Pete? He would have been Aaron' stepbrother since Aaron is the son of Julie and Holden. I forget how Julie is related to anyone else on the show now except she is Aaron's mother who is supposedly ill. Anyhow this Pete kid was pretty awful, bad like Liberty. Anyone else remember him and can add any details to his behavior?
I must say however that once upon a time, a long time ago, when I was in Hi School, I was Tootie in the play, Meet Me In Saint Louis, and I was a complete and total brat. I loved playing that part; it was so much fun! So acting is one thing, RL is something else. Sometimes I even forget this is just a story when I get so mad a characters like Liberty and Emily.

Aaron has two half-siblings who are older. They aren't Caleb's bio-kids though. They are Julie's kids w/her late ex, Frank Wendall. I didn't find either Jenny (rarely seen) or her son (his name escapes me at the moment) unlikeable. Petey (her son) was played by Jason Biggs (American Pie). He was great! Loved when he would call Caleb Cable, just to get a rise out of him. eom
I loved Jason Biggs/Pete, but Betsey's kid Dannie was annoying as hell
Hard to believe that the girl who played Dannie has gone on to feature films too. I couldn't stand her as Danni. Dannie shouldn't have come back to town being such a brat. She should come back now as a more mature character, w/her head on straight. eom
I LOVED Petey! Did you see when the napkins came for the wedding, and they said Cable instead of Caleb? That was where he got that from, and it was TOO funny! We still call him Cable when we talk about him! fee

She's right up there with Celia, etc. Annoying and trying too hard in her acting. Get ready for the Summer of Teen Incest on ATWT. yawn.

I think its too soon to judge the Liberty character. But, when Jade and Henry's sister first came on their was a lot of posters who didn't care for them. I think over time, that changed a little bit. Jade actually turned out to be very good and Henry's sister's wasn't that bad either. I actually do like Liberty because I love her dad.

A lot of people didn't like Sarah, Zoe, Nikki or Abigail. They all had similar storylines. There was a contingent that also didn't like Maddie much.
