Additional Comments: Simon has a cold so Jack lowers himself into a room full of lasers, from the ceiling, and grabs a rare diamond. Simon is able to pay his rent and is grateful to Jack since he's been stealing food every night from a foodbank--until Jack reminds him it's free anyway. Carly befriends Simon's model-beautiful girlfriend and baby son, who think Simon is a Wal Mart manager.
On Tuesday, Jack runs into Audrey, who's too sick to kill a wealthy ex boyfriend. Jack fills in at last minute and poisons the guy so Audrey can pay her rent.
On Wednesday, Jack sees Martha Byrne in a homeless shelter. She can't afford a computer to produce an online soap. She's so distraught she can't play Lily in a local theater production of As the World Turns. So Jack dons a smudged, vintage Chanel suit and takes over. He gets enough donations to buy Martha a 2002 Compaq laptop. Carly meets Martha's boyfriend and chuckles to herself that she never demanded anything of the suits.

Message: Great post! And good point, Amy, about needing a Katie storyline too, other than the ridiculous man-replacement hunt.
How's this: Jack cannot find an appropriate former love of Katie's life to bring back for her so he has reconstructive surgery and returns as Brad, telling her that he was in protective custody until they captured Manzo's connections and now he's back. Katie buys it of course (never been a rocket scientist), and Janet goes to Margo complaining that Jack hasn't returned so Margo arrests Carly, assuming she must somehow be involved (and she never liked Carly anyway).

Walter - Thank you so much for the laughs!!! I enjoyed reading the upcomming story lines for Jack. It's odd, becuase I can almost see it happening. The only problem is, Katie needs to somehow figure into those SLs, afterall, it's all about her anyway.
I am a little disappointed in how jack's soul searching journey has gone. I was excited about the concept, especially seeing a few faces from the past. I just didn't think they would be writing "Super Jack" stories. I'm not sure the angle they are trying to go for, but I think they missed the mark.
I wouldn't be surprised if when he gets home he'll get Emily pregnant! lol!! His "super men" can do the job that Paul can't...Maybe jack has been in south american planting those flowers in his spare time...
