Additional Comments: Jack seemed like a gossipy old lady when he made those remarks to Holden about Carly using him. Then he went to chide Carly that her dance partner was gone. She gave him the perfect answer and strolled off. He really does need therapy.

Who is left for Jack to date anyway? Its clear the show is moving Carly on for now, so who's left?

Bonnie? Juicy Janet? NuLily? Katie again?

I would rather see Jack in a non romantic sl than see him hook up with another woman only to break her heart to reunite with Carly/

As much as ultimately I want Carly and Jack to reconcile, watching him squirm today was good. I greatly enjoyed it.

I don't want Carly and Jack back together again. I would like to see her with someone else and Jack pining after her. He is emotionally abusive to her.

He really thought Carly was trying to make him jealous. (I don't quite get how Holden would fit into that equation, but I guess it doesn't really have to make that much sense.) He always thinks that he's at the center of Carly's plots, whether he is or not. And you gotta admit, she does try and get his attention.

Carly's thrown him a curve...Jackie doesn't respond well, does he? :)

I think that Jack has gotten his jollies for so long by putting down Carly that it is killing him that she is moving on and he has no whipping horse. Holden defending Carly is just icing. Jackass has to feel superior and he uses Carly (or Brad) to do it.

I could not believe how immature he was being today! But then again, I shouldn't be surprised, with the way he's been acting.

I half expected him to say "na na na na naaa! Lily's back so you can't dance with Holden anymore, Carly!!!" with his smug expression.

I have been so proud of Carly, the way she's been defending herself, and HOLDEN! He has her back and I love that. I love him putting Jack in his place. It's so awesome. Jack needs to be knocked down a little more.

I couldn't believe Jack told Holden that Carly used men "to do her bidding." Huh? What men? She's the most celibate woman in Oakdale! lol. Alas, this is Jack. The same Jack who lied about Carly behind her back to Katie. The same Jack who can't go one day without belittling Carly. It's just too bad Carly hasn't eavesdropped on The Good Guy.

I agree. She has been celibate for some time now, by Oakdale standards. And every time Holden has helped her, it was his idea to do so.

Yes very true, poor Jack is not being fought over by multiple women, his ego is shrinking. I agree, throw Sophie at him, I can't think of anyone else available, unless they get some new characters. And Carly needs a new man. Pleeeease do NOT let the writers have a tug of war situation for Holden between Carly and Lily. Bring in some new fresh meat!!! It is summer - spice it up! I like the fact Juicy Janet is around, and she's cute, and obvioulsy nothing but trouble. We need some more characters in this incestuous town!! Even bring some new teens in - Libs can't be enough.

Speaking of teens - I felt bad for poor Elwood - the poor guy in real life won a competition, and was just expended like an old piece of gum.

Excellent point. Actually there are a lot of Oakdale men who would appreciate a woman with Sophie's qualities, and that includes Paul. I enjoyed seeing Jack at Metro, with Carly blowing him off and Katie so lovey-dovey with Brad. How does it feel to be left behind, g-man? eom/D
