Boo.. Vienna is back! Love Barbara and Henry. Love seeing Barbara happy. Loved the scene today between Barbara and Carly.
Ok.. someone really needs to explain to me why if Janet is such a wonderful mother that she is in Oakdale and not in Minnesota with her sick daughter. I am not buying the excuse that Liberty needs to be isolated. It wouldn't matter to me one bit if I couldn't be in the same room as her.. as her mother I would be sitting in the darn waiting room or at the VERY LEAST in a hotel room not far away in case anything went wrong!! I have known mothers who have had sick children in long term care.. (close friend) and believe me she hardly ever left the hospital and she stayed in a Ronald McDonald home so she could always be very near by no matter what. Parker is there... a 17 year old friend is with Liberty but, Janet is back in Oakdale wondering who the daddy is. Say what you want about other Oakdale mothers but, Janet is no better... not at all.
I cringed and started making comments to myself as I saw Carly walk into the hospital today for the sonogram... however, as soon as Janet opened her big trap I started rooting for Carly to be there. Janet is such a hypocrite. As if this woman has not made everything all about her for months now! Janet thinks the world revolves around Janet... Carly sadly, thinks the world revolves around Jack. I am not sure which is worse but, let me tell you Janet should keep her mouth shut and stop acting like she is sooo superior.. she is afterall not even sure who the father of her child is.
Dusty is such a thug. He has been marching all over town telling everyone how much he wants Janet. He treats Jack like an intruder in Janet's world as if he (Dusty) bought and owns Janet. People talk about Carly but, Dusty is being just as intrusive and annoying as Carly has been at times.. yet, where is all of the Dusty hatred? Carly is attacked for basically being a "Dusty Lite".. when the real mccoy seems to get a pass. For me personally, I am ok with Dusty because I want him to take Janet far away.. far, far away. However, I do not think Carly is some horrible witch for being around this situation.. as some seem to.
I could barely watch the Damian/Lily/Faith stuff. I am just wondering why the writers have not been able to write PS a decent storyline since the day Damian went down in the plane back in 1996. PS is probably one of the most handsome, gifted actors in daytime... I mean talk about charisma.. and somehow they just couldn't figure out how to use him in a way that would really be beneficial to ATWT. Truly sad.
Jack says all the right things to Carly... he seems so convincing until he gets away from her and then he acts all confused and wishy/washy. Jack almost seems jealous of Dusty.. and that makes NO sense if he truly loves Carly and wants to be with her.. he should be flooded with relief at the prospect that Dusty could be the father... instead he seems almost sad about the idea. Its weird.

''The Juicy Hour'' is wearing me down. I'm so disgusted that I can barely watch the show in a timely manner. Instead of watching the episodes I tape daily, I'm now watching in batches because I can't stomach seeing that red doofus every day.
There is no acceptable excuse for Juicy being away from her dotter during a critical illness. And what makes the woman-with-the-brain-of-a-toddler look even worse is that Parker is there, at her daughter's bedside, yet she's right smack in a WTD situation. Jack and Dusty could easily go to Minnesota to be with JuiceBoxHead, if they didn't want to leave the poor pregnant woman alone. Any prenatal testing or care could take place at a Minnesota hospital, as I'm sure Dusty's ''benefits'' would pay all of Juicy's medical care costs.
Carly sinks lower by the day. First she let Jack get away with that ugly gut shot about knowing he was the father from the beginning. Then, she shows up at Attila the Hun's sonogram uninvited, resulting in a tongue-lashing from the wicked Chest of the West. I wish Carly would bow out of the situation, leaving Jack and Dusty to piss all over each other like the dogs they are.
What I hate is that ''The Juicy Hour'' is that it is starting to overshadow what I like about the show. I'm loving nuChris (and have adored him since 90210), even though it looks like he'll be wasted on Katie. Henry and Barbara have been a blast to watch, but it's too bad Vienna came back (right after she found out he had the inheritence after all). Dr. Oliver has certainly grown on me, and he even makes whiny Luke watchable.

I know some had a real problem with Carly's 'tude, but I didn't. Carly doesn't trust Janet not to play on Jack's sympathies where this kid is concerned. So what if she showed up to support Jack? Janet obviously doesn't GAS about how the news would impact him (and honestly, I don't think she's ever cared about his feelings other than how they impacted what her plans where anyway...). Was there a part of her that wanted to get the 411 immediately? Sure...who wouldn't? But for Jan to mouth off about Carly "making this all about her" was insanely laughable, given the way Janet reacts to everything around her.
Seriously loved the Babs/Carly moment.
