Additional Comments: Katie is not blameless in all this. In the first place she knows beyond a doubt how flakey Henry can be. She also knows he does really stupid things sometimes. She also knows he can get himself into bad situations at the drop of a hat.
Has she learned nothing???? So now she is going to rant and rave on Henry for what he did. Yes, he was stupid beyond reason but she is just about as bad. Just takes her very pregnant self and finds a mob guy and threatens him???? I'm sorry but Geez Louise how dumb can she be???
I think TC has done a great job with the SL since Brad was killed. I've been really impressed with her performance but Katie still needs to own up to her part in it. The woman is such an intolerable airhead!!!
Not TC but her alter ego.

Of course she shares responsibility for Brad's death. That's the beauty of the story! Katie's responsible for getting herself into a "rescue me" situation. Brad's responsible for thinking he could save the world all by himself. Henry's responsible. Jack's responsible. The Oakdale police are responsible. Uncle Ralph is responsible. Audrey's responsible. Heck. If Juicy Jugs hadn't come to Springfield, Uncle Ralph wouldn't have. We can blame it on her, too.
What I hate most about Katie, is that she totally disregarded that she was not only putting herself in danger, but geezlouise, she was putting her unborn child in jeopardy. She's not only partially responsible, but she's fully stupid.

Message: I agree---Katie was only in danger because she went to Ralph. And none of the "Katie couldn't have known Ralph would consider hurting her"---she knew Ralph threatened Vienna to get to Henry and she nearly died in the fire at the diner.
Yelling at Henry that he should have gone to the police---OY. C'mon---KATIE should have gone to the police.

Message: Let's speculate here. What logically would have happened had Katie not walked onto that roof with her little cell phone, and childish threats to a monster? IMO, Henry would have run away, and from a safe distance perhaps called Margo, leaving Barbara with the money. Ralph would have waited on the roof until he too left town, or threatened someone else, hopefully Audrey; or the police would have arrived. Not much harm done to anyone. Probably.

Jack pulled the trigger yet it is Katie's fault Brad got killed .... 99%. He was there at the scene only because her actions were stupid, and reckless, without regard .... endangering her life, her unborn baby's life and this ultimately turned fatal for Bradley. If you remove Katie from the equation of Audrey/Henry/Ralph ... Brad would never have been killed.....maybe Vienna, or Henry or Audrey....but not Brad. And now she gets off the hook of responsibility? She did it....katydid.

Message: Each individual involved in the death of Brad share responsibility in it. The degree of that is debateable. Katie shares blame of course but so does Henry & ultimately Brad himself. However, it is Uncle Ralphie who is the person who is monster in all of this. Janet's Uncle is the one to blame most. Katie's actions were idiotic & so were Brad's. As Craig so aptly put it Henry put the wheels in motion.

No matter what Audrey or Henry did, Katie and ONLY Katie is responsible for putting herself, her husband, and her unborn child in danger. Just as Henry could have called the authorities, so could have Katie.
And I don't want to hear how she was "doing it for Henry." Henry didn't ask her to do it. Henry didn't want her to do it. Haven't we all been in a situation where someone "did something" stupid or dangerous for us-- something we did NOT want them to do-- and then held it over our heads? It's a control thing.

Message: Same song, 10th verse....YES ! Henry was partially responsible, as was Katie, but ultimately it was AUDREY who brought Ralphie to town and siced him on Henry !!! Henry got involved to shut up Vienna and her protest for having the money and Katie was foolishly trying to help her friend, Henry.

Message: Henry is responsible for getting involved with a gangster in the first place, but he did not tell Katie to go confront they guy. She alone has to face that fact at some time. Henry told her he was leaving town because he was afraid for his life from Ralph. That should have given the little twit a clue. I guess she thought Ralphie would be shakin' in his boots when he heard she was Margo's sister!

Message: You are absolutely right. In the midst of a risky, miracle pregnancy this woman-child decides to take on the mob single-handedly without so much as one word to her sister the COP or Jack "The Best Darn Cop in Oakdale". I can't believe that any expected mother would be that careless with her unborn child or the rest of her family.
