Additional Comments: Sorry, another soapbox. Brad's ex-whatever has to go on the next bus outa town. I can't even be bothered learning her character's name; I'm afraid if I do, it will stick to me like some kind of incurable fungus. So before it infects Oakdale, it needs to go and it needs to take its spawn with it. Don't they have petitions for this kind of thing? Can we start one? Something nice and subtle. like when the villagers followed the monster out to the windmill in "Frankenstein"--an old idea, but I think it makes the point!

Message: This character remindeds me of an annoying Iris. She is unlikeable. I'd never seen the actress on anything before her arrival in Oakdale, so i didn't have any expectations about her...but she was just disappointing.

Message: JP is a wonderful actress, but the character she is playing is impossible! I just don't buy the character at all. Quite honestly, if I didn't know it was JP in the role, I would find her just as intolerable. It is the same position TPTB put TG (Iris) in. These obnoxious, one note, one dimentional characters w/nothing more to offer than being the obnoxious mother-from-hell are a disservice to everyone--cast, crew, writers, the audience & the actresses. These should be more complex, interesting, multi-faceted women, but still be the mother-from-hell too.

The story here isn't the problem! The ACTRESS/CHARACTER is the problem! I just want her to die! I can't deal with the chick! I thought maybe it was just me. This woman makes Liberty look like a saint! She makes Julia Larrabee look like a saint! She makes Cee-lee-yuh look like a saint! I seriously CANNOT tolerate this woman, and I SERIOUSLY cannot tolerate Brad talking to her like she's just a normal person! I'm about SERIOUSLY ready for Fluff to accidentally decapitate this woman! AWFUL!!! AWFUL!!!! AWFUL!!!!

I'm interested to see what is really going on here. I'm still wondering if Brad is really the father or if this is a setup. And Liberty wants rid of her Mother. Now that she is in town and already letting Liberty skip school, I have to wonder why? She seems exactly the lenient Mother Liberty would want to have around. Plus this gives Brad and Katie something to fight about.

Message: I am on the fence. I kinda like both characters, and I do like both actors alot. My problem is they are being written and portrayed with a very broad brush so far. They're way too stereotypical. I need to see the writers give 'em some depth pdq.
