Subject: You are probably right... I did get the impression Jack couldn't work up the courage to ask Simon to help Katie because of his relationship with Carly. No matter how it goes down, it does sound like Carly asks a man she once loved to go after his ex-wife.. that seems kind of weird to me. Carly and Simon should have unresolved feelings yet, Carly will put Katie's needs above her own when her own life is pretty mixed up right now. eom

Subject: Acck.....I don't see why Simon and Carly should have ''unresolved feelings''. I doubt we'll hear much about their relationship, but we're supposed to conclude they ''let each other go'' a long LONG time ago. As for Jack---I get a feeling it really does stick in his craw, asking Simon to go to Katie----both because Brad was his brother and the lingering animosity about the situation with Carly. gallyn

Subject: Technically Skatie was more ancient history than Carly and Simon... Simon actually left Oakdale totally in love with Carly and over Katie. He chose Carly over Katie. Now, I get that we are suppose to forget all of that now but, that doesn't mean I have. eom
