Subject: Dandyfop, you bring up an excellent point. If the shoe had been on the other foot and Carly had gone on a soul searching journey, we'd never hear the end of Carly ''abandoning'' her kids from all of the characters and people on this board. However, now that Jack has pretty much turned tail and run, we are having this debate over...you guessed it ''Carly abandoning her kids''...NOT JACK abandoning his kids, BUT CARLY. I actually think that both Carly and Jack are lousy parents. Carly's lousy for taking off even if the kids essential needs are being met by some neighbor because she just got back from rehab and these kids missed her like crazy and Jack is a grown man behaving like a selfsh child by simply quitting his job and ''running away to join the circus''. I think that Jack is a lousy parent for quiting his job without even discussing this with his wife and taking off without a word to his kids as to where he was going and when he'd be back. Parker, Sage and JJ are going to have some real abandonment issues when they get older. eom Linny
