Subject: Mia, my AT&T cell phone sometimes hides/holds messages from out-of-area people for several days, sometimes a week. 'Did you get my message?' No, but it will arrive in several days. Don't know where the message hides, cyberspace is a mystery. Hell, the plain old black telephone is a mystery. I am stuck in the smoke signal age. eom/silver

Subject: Silver, that is so bizarre!! Now I'm going to wonder along with you, where on earth do your phone messages hide out!!! Heck, I can remember when telephone numbers consisted of only four numbers and when you dialed 'operator' a little old lady from five miles down the road answered your call on one ring. Now, twelve rings plus 5 minutes worth of menu selections, gets you an operator three thousand miles away....maybe even more!!! I'll settle for the simple smoke signals at least you knew with whom you were dealing with, plus it was a real live person. LOL
