Subject: But Janet hasn't known Parker or Jack that long. How is she really supposed to know what Parker is capable of? Just because he's the son of her short-term boyfriend doesn't automatically make him innocent. I think you'd have to know someone quite well before you have any idea of what demons may be inside them. Janet may see Parker as a frustrated teenaged boy with rampaging hormones who was told No and lost control. It's not as if she's lived with the kid long enough to know exactly who he is. She doesn't even know exactly who Jack is at this point--I wonder if she'd look at him with admiration if she knew how many times he has skirted the law to protect his family. --Oakdale Oldtimer--
