Hi Everyone, What plans are on for Easter for you? Anything really special? Easter egg hunts. Easter baskets? Kids and grandkids visiting? Brunches?

After church, we will be going to my son and dil's home for a family brunch. She has 8 bros and sis so it is a huge family affair and lots of fun with kids and egg hunts etc. Plus the food is awesome as she is a part time caterer. Not a Jenny Craig day.

My family are going to be scattered this Easter. My oldest son and his family are spending the week-end with his wife's parents, my middle son is also spending the week-end with his partner's parents, so my youngest son and grandson will be coming to me for Easter dinner. My brother and his lady friend may also be coming too.

Hopefully the weather will be more like Spring but I think the weatherman is calling for rain and wind.

Hope you all have a Happy Easter wherever you are spending it.

We are going to spend Easter with my daughter and her family who live in the Chicago area. We were going to drive up today (Friday) but with the heavy snow predicted there today we decided to wait and drive up tomorrow. The Easter Bunny is going to have a hard time getting around in all that snow. Hopefully this will be the last big snow fall of the season.

Our family is very spread out and nobody lives near us. We've got one son and one daughter flying down, but the 4 of us will share the Easter Table with neighbors. Every year they invite "orphan families" like themselves to have a big family style dinner with all the good china, silver and crystal. They cook a few leg o'lambs in the smoker and all the guests bring their favorite Easter dinner side dishes and desserts. It's always lots of fun. And I don't have to clean my house!
