Most people mix it, but I just turn it up and get it over with, lol. It is good for a number of ailments. Roxie

My doctor suggested I save my money on Coq10- she said there is no proven benefit.
I began taking it when my mothers cardiologist recommended she try it along with her cocktail of pills- she had inoperable heart disease by that time and I have always thought there was not much else he could recommend to her at that point, that was the feeling I got. I talked it up and we started taking it together. There was very little that could be done and this made her feel a little better- thinking she was taking this miracle vitamin that might help her. She always wanted to be sure she had some every day.

Mine told me to take CoQ10 along with my cholesterol prescription to help stave off the side effect of stiff muscles. I got off the cholesterol drug and stopped taking the CoQ10 as well. About 2 weeks later, my joints and muscles started aching again, so I went back on the CoQ. So for me, it's working (even if it's just in my head) ~
I was kind of surprised my doc had nothing good to say about CoQ10. But you know, I think if a person believes it will do you some good, just believing in it does something positive for you. I know my mother hoped it would help her- I think it made her feel in some small way that she could do something positive about her health. I will probably ignore my doctors advice and continue to blow my money on it :-)./dandyfop
I only buy it when there's a BOGO on them in Walgreens or CVS
