My problem is that I can't finish this CD book before the due date plus the 5 extra days the library gives me because it's on "hold" for someone else. I'll try to get the printed book!

This is probably illegal, but you can rip the CDs that you can't finish to your computer and then listen to them at your leisure. Or if you have an MP3 player or Ipod, you can transfer them.
