I buy the ready made crusts from Pillsbury. I always cover the edges of pies with foil to keep those edges from getting too brown while the pie bakes(especially pumpkin).My m-in-law used to use lard for hers but the sound of it grosses me out!lol
Subject: thanks, I do love to cook. I always wanted to own my own bakery or country style restaurant. Maybe someday I will do both..lol.
